FWIW I saw a post on Trip Advisor of someone who is stuck in LV waiting to get back to the UK.
The real bad part is they are broke.
That just may be even worse!
Sorry about your trip. Hopefully a Xmas miracle happens.

Cesspit wants to leave for Wales on Wed from N America, what are his chances.

Sound by all accounts from KLM and Delta everything is going fine so far. I'll worry on that one on Wednesday :) Heathrow by sounds of it is a cluster.
Lucky I'm not going that way.

Is gutted a comment related to the state of your bankroll after the trip to Vegas? Or a reference to the flights that are being cancelled in massive numbers due to UK snow and ice problems?Quote: WizardofEnglandGutted
I hope you are still at a casino rather than the airport. Good luck.
ON-EDIT: Oh, I get it. You are still in the UK and its your flight OUT than has been canceled due to the airlines not even flying planes into the UK so as to avoid stranding them there. Good luck to you.

Its now 99% I will not be going to Vegas this Christmas, and because the travel agent is being difficult, I can't even make other arrangements to fly somewhere else.
Gutted, means pissed.

Don't you have contract of carriage over there? If your flight is canceled, usually the airline has to make alternate arrangements for you.

Why not? Are all flights being canceled?

Its hard to get flights OUT of the UK, when airlines stopped sending planes INTO the UK so as to avoid there being stranded there. Airports don't even have any de-icing fluids to pump. Even if they had planes that were taking off.Quote: EvenBobWhy not? Are all flights being canceled?

Delta seem to be given refunds straight away... that really sucks that they are sitting on your money for 16 weeks!
Sorry to hear that, guvner.
Looking like my flight through Amsterdam is working out in my favour...

Assuming you used a credit card, I might look into reversing the charges. Holding your funds for more than a quarter is absurd.
