Was watching "The Raven" with Boris Karlof and Bela Lugosi and saw an old mechanical horse game. Spun like a roulette wheel but with horses. So looked up the movie to see if I could find anything similar.

Found this: not the same as the one in the movie, but similar.

You can find those for sale on occasion at Ebay.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

There was a Stephen King book where one plotline involved such a horse racing game that worked to predict real races (or did it?).

I just sold two replica games like that. I can't think of the company name but it is something like Shulco and they made magnificent old style games starting in the late 1980s.
