If I was a conspiracy guy, I would wonder if they were loosening up airport slots for the publicity to get more people to Vegas.....but I am not. :/

Yes.
A: got the verification on time before her flight
B: Happily missed her flight to get verification, and made the next flight
C: Happily missed her flight to get verification. Went back to Vegas for a few more nights to celebrate.

I’d be asking for many comps considering I am likely generating much more value for them - yes I’d ask airport for comps I’d ask anyone who wants my business for comps
Perhaps they are not that much worst than many of the slots on the strip.Quote: kewljIsn't this like the second big jackpot at the airport in just a couple weeks. I mean the airport is like the worse play you can play isn't it with like a 70% return? lol

I would guess the Mega Jackpot games are not much lower if any than on the strip.

I really don't know. I am going by memory of a story I read sometime ago, saying that the airport was just about the worse place a person could play in regards to payout return. I thought I remember returns as low as 70%, but am happy to stand corrected at 75%. I am going by memory.
However, if she had hit that jackpot at a casino, she no doubt would have been comped a few night as the casino would be hoping to get at least some of that money back. Being it was the airport, I hope she made here flight and took every cent of it home with her. :)

I agree. IGT gets one version approved to go into all sorts of places. They might even be the best payback, except video poker, at the airport. I'd guess 87-88%.

Anything that low should be named “wishing well”, ‘cause it’s pretty much throwing money into a hole and hoping something good happens.

I would guess around 85% for the WAP's at the airport.
I assume that's what you would get if you plopped down on machines similar to this on the strip.Quote: DRichI would guess around 85% for the WAP's at the airport.

Good luck with that. I don't believe they even have slot club.
One was $800 dollars & another time she got $1,400.
I don't know why they say don't play the airport slots.
Too bad she won the bigger slots When we arrived,
because they were both totally gone an hour later.
If you're someone who cares about the house advantage it's best not to play at the Airport because you can find slots in other parts of vegas that have a much better RTP.Quote: EvenBobMy wife has one several jackpots at the Vegas airport.

It all comes down to the length of entertainment value someone will get out of their money.
On average, if Player A has $1,000 budget and he or she is playing $3 a spin at 800 spins per hour, they will get little less than 3 hours of entertainment while playing at the airport.
On average, If player B is doing the same thing, but they play a machine that only holds 5% somewhere in Las Vegas, they will get a little more than 8 hours of play.
