In the UK there is a soap opera called Eastenders, it revolves around the fictional area of Albert Square, which features an english pub called the Queen Vic, there is nearly always an illegal five card draw poker game taking place once a year where by the landlord ends up all in for the deads to the pub, vs some other business owner, the cafe, fish & chip shop etc....
Then you see a straight flush being beat by a royal flush and the landlord losing the pub. That way everyone who lives in the square gets a chance at being the landlord. It beggers believe, no-one comments on how remote it is, and leading up to the fabled hand you see quads, full-houses and real monster hands.
