Roy Horn, of the famous Siegfried & Roy, is dead after being infected with the coronavirus.

RIP to Roy. Him being paralyzed from the 2003 Stroke/Tiger Attack in 2003 made him even more susceptible to the Coronavirus.

RIP to a truly talented entertainer. I have been on Roy Horn Drive many times and never realized it was named for him. I always pictured a tough cowboy good ole boy.
The difference between fiction and reality is that fiction is supposed to make sense.

Very sad to hear this. Found out earlier tonite on Bloomberg radio NYC. Reportedly had been hospitalized about 1 week.

Never saw their act. I regret that a bit, it was an iconic part of the Vegas experience back in the day.

May he RIP. I was in Las Vegas the day the tiger accident happened. Everyone was talking about it.
I've always assumed that they were rather reclusive, so it makes me curious how he contracted it.

Siegfried & Roy performed in Biloxi in February 2019. At the end of the show Siegried was at one exit line signing autographs and being photographed, while Roy was at the other exit doing the same thing. Seems they went out of their way to get close to their fans.
This suggests to me how they may have had coronavirus contact.

Hmm. I think that Siegfried should get himself tested if he hasn't yet if Roy did in fact get some sort of illness(Not Coronavirus since Coronavirus broke out in late December 2019)from the fans at the Biloxi show since he was there too. Siegfried most likely hung with Roy at least once this year, so there's also that.
