Taking the actual physical tables off of the casino floor seems pretty obvious. I'm taking the under on "Number of tables at the Casino Royale on 7/8/2021", whatever the number is. A prop bet to be sure, but I've already got "Mets, Knicks, Rangers OR Jets Win One League Title in My Lifetime." I'll be 68 tomorrow, so they better hurry up!

I have never known a casino to go slots-only and later reverse the decision. Granted, these are different times, but I am happy to put my money where my mouth is in wagering they are not back by any particular future date.
It's not whether you win or lose; it's whether or not you had a good bet.

Yes, I was suggesting the removal is permanent. It isn't just that the tables are closed, they are removed. I will be expecting that apology if they don't bring them back.

Since the table games have actually been removed (I trust you on that), I apologize now. I'm sorry I misunderstood you. I thought they had the tables but they just weren't open.

Gialmere is right, though, about the Slots-A-Fun exception: If it's on the strip, I count it as a casino, table games or not. I'm adding an asterisk that Casino Royale doesn't have table games.

Granted, these are different times,

In many ways, its still the same. Experience among managers varies. Rumors abound, MBAs lurk. Reporters and health inspectors are threatened by Lady Luck just as players are.

So you made the bet after the 94 hockey season? ;-)

No. 1994 was my year to bet the Montreal Expos to win it all.

The World Series that never was. Yanks vs Expos. Or as insiders called it, The Pee-Wee Herman Series.

I spent all day overhauling the Who Owns What page. I'm pretty sure it's the most comprehensive, accurate, and up-to-date list available. I also link to my sources, unlike most of the other web pages on the topic.

There are bound to be a few errors or omissions, I gleefully accept corrections.

Itís a marginal case, but the Rio sold last year and is being leased back by Caesars.

I know circus circus in Reno became a slot parlor, and they are now again a full casino with tables. I think they only open them on weekends but itís a start.
