Longtime NYC Newscaster Ernie Anastos. He had a nearly fifty-year career on air with Eyewitness News.
Eyewitness News broke the mold for news programs and made its reporters celebrities. Ernie was the cool young reporter, and, together with Gereldo Rivera, brought a fresh approach to what had been a stale style of newscasting. He became the anchorman a few years later.

The passing of Robert Mueller

Here are some good write ups about him

"Legacy and Reactions
Mueller is primarily remembered for his 12-year tenure leading the FBI through the aftermath of the September 11 attacks and for his later role as Special Counsel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election.

Political Reactions:
Donald Trump: Reacted on social media stating, "I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people!".
Barack Obama: Praised him as one of the "finest directors in the history of the FBI" and a public servant of "greatest integrity".
George W. Bush: Expressed deep sadness and praised Mueller's lifelong dedication to public service.
Family: He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Ann Cabell Standish, their two daughters, and several grandchildren.

Mueller was a decorated Vietnam War veteran and recipient of the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, making him eligible for burial at Arlington National Cemetery. "

Wow
Now I know he's a war hero!

Robert Mueller took the reins of the FBI with the intention of modernizing it, but the September 11th attacks transformed the Bureau into something he never wanted.
Rest in Peace to a truly Great American.

Sam Kieth, 63

Mr. Kieth is a near legend in the comic industry. One of the founding fathers of Image Comics, he created The Maxx and co-created The Sandman, among many others. He was an artist for years before switching to the writing aspects of the business.
Mr. Keith suffered from Lewy Body Dementia, a particularly horrible disease.

Yeah Robert Mueller was a swell dude especially during the 12 years when he ran the FBI. I won't get into details because it's way too political why would you even post that here it's pure politics.

I agree, but when somebody's life was it's hard to avoid it. And I don't believe a man's bad must overshadow his good.

Everyone is fully aware of what this person was involved with and there's no need to reiterate it. At the same time, a glowing, hagiographic eulogy of such a person if going to cause a strong reaction too. Much as if I were to post fond admiration of a certain Austrian artist who served with uncommon valor during World War I. Everyone would call that "trolling," and they'd be right.

Valerie Perrine. 82.

Most famous as the female assistant to Gene Hackman's Lex Luther in the Superman films.

When Lex Luther says the first nuclear bomb will hit Hackensack, Valerie Perrine responds,

You weight the bad with the good, and evaluate accordingly. The Austrian failed artist? Fought well for his side, but then the bad took over.

Louie Louie

Longtime Vegas lounge singer, record producer, and Man About Town. One of the first Latin hip-hop artists, he moved from Puerto Rico to NYC in the early 80s and was featured in several of Madonna's early videos. He had several hits on his own in the early 1990s. After a decade of producing records in NYC, he moved to Vegas and starred in numerous lounge acts at smaller casinos. He had regular gigs at Rampart, Club Madrid, The Hilton, The Green Door, and Drea's. Bruno Mars patterned much of his act after Louie's high-energy performances.

Dash Krofts. Half of the 1970s duo of Seals and Crofts.
The band was big in the early 1970s, and coincidentally, each of their three top hits peaked at #6. A popular touring band, they were one of the headliners at a California show that attracted 200,000 people. The band broke up around 1980, and they reformed to tour several times, but never regained their magic.

LMAO! 🤣🤭 I was actually planning to make a joke reference to Principal Strickland's Back To The Future character and say something like,"Death is the final Slacker!" 😉 But I failed to make the joke reference. 💡
