Will the robot be as big a jerk as Walt Disney was? Nobody who worked with the guy could stand him he was always in a bad mood, always yelling and screaming and chewing people out, and chain smoking. He smoked packs and packs of cigarettes a day and underpaid his employees.

This is very true
No male employees were allowed to sport any facial hair which of course is ironic because Disney never would have been allowed to work at his own parks. He always sported facial hair.

Animatronics are not really robots. Just well designed nuts and bolts that move in a preprogrammed manner in sync to a tape or digital recording.

The point is really about approving of having a simulation of yourself displayed. If it's a robot of Walt, that's a simulation regardless of complexity.
I don't know really why most people would object, unless it was for something infamous.
I got Ai to back me up (sort of)
Quote:AI Overview
Yes, animatronics can definitely be considered a forerunner of robots, particularly in the realm of creating machines that mimic living things and perform pre-programmed actions.
Here's why:
Shared technological roots: Animatronics stem from a long tradition of mechanical automata, which are machines designed to imitate movements, often using hydraulics, pneumatics, or clockwork mechanisms. Robots also utilize these and similar technologies to achieve motion and functionality.
Focus on mimicking life: A key characteristic of animatronics is their design to resemble real creatures. While not all robots are designed to look like living beings, this emphasis on lifelike appearance in animatronics paved the way for the development of robots that could interact more naturally with humans or simulate complex movements.
Also, I think Disney would have made the fanciest machine possible within reason because it would attract more customers.

Speaking of Musicians/Singers that turned to Religion, Vanity/Denise had a near death experience after overdosing on drugs and she said that Jesus told her he would let her live if she promised to let go of the Vanity Persona and become religious. She destroyed all of her Vanity Persona and became religious, even becoming a Minister or something like that. She died at 57, still relatively young because the drugs she took as Vanity messed up her system. Dying at 57 is better than dying at say around 34 which was the age she overdosed and decided to let go of the Vanity Persona 💡

I didn't hate being a child but the school process seemed unfulfilling to me. Everything was so slow paced and didn't focus on the things that I was interested in. I wish high schools offered more targeted career paths but I do understand the logistics probably aren't possible without a major overhaul of the system.

School to me was minimum security prison. I liked history class, tolerated some others. Looking back I had a couple classes in grades 1-8 where the teachers let us work on our own, at our own pace. I liked those. Which tells me that our Prussian-school model is way past its usefulness. Even now, I am writing this in a local coffeehouse where I have been trying to learn Python on my own. Mixed results there.

Christie Brinkley as a middle aged Adult said she wouldn't want to be 25 again and I thought that was incredibly odd for her to say as 25 is seen as a vibrant, young, and fresh age and middle aged is seen as "starting to get a little old." 💡🤔 I myself am now hovering around middle age now and I myself wouldn't want to be say 31 because I was a huge mess at 31. I am much more mature at 41 than at 31 and do not want to be 31 again as I was at a REALLY bad time in my life at 31. 💡🤔 Maybe Christie was at a bad time in her life at 25 and that's why she said she didn't want to be 25 again? 💡🤔
I have not given much thought to the matter, but most of the things I did that had an adverse effect on my life happened between 25 and 31. The good part of messing up relatively early in life is that you have many years to recover

For men, 25 was once the most respected age. Younger guys looked up to that age, older guys remember the energy they had then.
As usual, BUT
At 25 I was broke, I had little career experience. I was living at home, out of college, no life, working 60 or more hours a week in a management training program where part of the goal was to break you down. No respect at work even with that. At 27 I got promoted, got my own place but it was a relocation to upstate NY where I knew nobody. Still working those 60 hour weeks, but I did have a company car.
It was not until age 30 that I had some decent work experience, bought a house, and was learning more the ways of the world.
I work around some 25ish year olds. I do not see how they manage to live in this day and age. A few look up to me and others for the worldly stuff we know. I do not get excited at much because I have seen and heard it all before. I have some savings even though I often feel broke. It can be peaceful being older if you let it work for you.
Got one life to live, get it over with.............................

My older sister had a crush on him around 1968 or so. At one point, he had a few songs on the charts and was co-starring in a TV series, Here Come the Brides.
A couple of years later, a guest spot on the tv show Emergency awoke his childhood dream of being a fireman and he became a para-medic and reserve deputy sheriff. RIP

I'm still trying to figure out how they turned the 6 million dollar man into Superman 50 years ago when today we still can't do most of that stuff. At least we got the communicators they used on Star Trek in the form of a smartphone, they were right about that. And Maxwell Smart's shoe phone.
