Lowell was a small bedroom community of Bisbee until the mining company used its mineral rights to move most of the homes some three miles south. This one street is pretty much all that remains. If you notice the police car, it mentions Sturgis Security Patrol. In the 1950s, Bisbee was such a rough town , the organizers of the then new Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, hired its Police Force to work security. As its over a thousand miles away, I have no idea how they worked it out.
By the by- I rarely use Cruise Control and average a tad over thirty miles a gallon on long distance trips. Coming home, I had the CC on about 90% of the time and got over forty per. Made it from Bisbee to Kingman on one tank.
Quote: billryanFeels like it. I've been there more than in Henderson lately. Will be moving there fulltime once I finish a few things here in the Valley. Going home to the place I've never been before. After learning a few shortcuts, and picking up on which hours to avoid Phoenix, it's a nice eight hour commute each way.

I was more concerned that he would have to find a ribeye substitute.

And he gets to be on the bottom.

You could just dress up like one.Quote: MaxPenI was more concerned that he would have to find a ribeye substitute.
Quote: GWAEI wonder if there are any actual abandoned towns that are not commercialized. Would be interesting to stumble upon one in the middle of the desert.
I've been thinking about trying to find Delamar. Supposedly some pretty rough roads to get there.
