What's not to like about a Holiday in America where everyone considers themselves Irish for a day and drinks like fools?

And it gave us one of the Top 10 Youtube Videos of all.

May everyone find their own Pot of Gold, in a casino or where ever it may be!

Happy St Patrick's Day everyone!

I think it's a regional thing. Even when
I had the bar in Calif we mostly weren't
even aware of this 'holiday', we certainly
never celebrated it. If you hadn't posted
this I would be totally unaware of it
today.

IN NY, we celebrate St Paddy's Day all of March. It's spring training for BBQ season. One year, I marched in nine different Parades, and missed out on a couple.

The month-long celebration of St. Patrick’s Day got underway with the 44th annual Queens Parade in Rockaway. The day began with a Mass for justice and peace at St. Francis de Sales Church, Belle Harbor.
The older I get, the better I recall things that never happened
