HI. The strangest thing just happened. Earlier today I got a phone call from my usual casino. It wasn't my host who called, but another one. He was the highest/first one one thier website (if that means anything). He wanted to know if I was planning to come out there for the Super Bowl and their party because they filled up fast.
I got this phone call, for a Super Bowl (Feb. 3, by the way), bash in the last few days of September. Not to seem narcatisic, but does that mean that I'm a VIP in their books? Yeah, it might be a bit of an ego stroke, but I'd like to hear some opinions.
Thanks.

Was last year's party a huge success?

I thought it was, It was in their banquet room (or something like it) with food, lying screen TV's on the walls, and private gaming tables. You had to show a pass to get in. I won on the tables but got nailed on my bets on the game.

It isn't that tough to get invited to a Super Bowl party. They are fun, you should go.

So much for an inflated ego ha ha. I'm still trying to find out what makes you a truly valued customer downtown. I still get the limo and comped suite

I think that depends on the location. Is it for El Cortez or Wynn?
I've been invited to many, but without a limo.

I think nearly every property out there offers a SB party, and it's gotten very competitive. So they're trying to lock people in really early this year.
I would guess you're fairly valuable to them, because that's a big weekend, and yet they're comping and limo'ing you to come. It seems like they do invites by tiers of good players. Invite the biggest, give them a couple weeks, invite the next, give them a couple, etc until they have filled their expected capacity.
Given that it's more than 4 months away, I would think you're pretty high on the GN list.

If the House lost every hand, they wouldn't deal the game.

I'd be more than happy to give up the whole thing if, Heaven forbid, my Jets could make it there. They've been letting me down for literally half a century already and this season isn't starting off on a high note.
