At .50 cents you probably never will or perhaps eventually you may get supremely lucky
Start betting $5, 10 and up a pull and you will see them more often
Betting $25 a pull i have easily seen 10 or more jackpots
Interestingly there was a promotion at one casino where every jackpot had an extra $2018 dollars added (to celebrate the new years) So i played $60 a pull and couldnt get one win over $600 even lol.
Lost $2500 chasing that

How many lines were you playing? 2500 loss sounds like you weren't in it to win it. Maybe just dipping your toe in to check the water.

To be fair, $2500 is over 2 months pay for me, so to me a $2500 loss is big money.
Quote: odiousgambiti am devoted to to making a handpay impossible, at least none that mean a W2-g
I remember someone saying they were pissed off that they got a handpay because they actually lost more money in taxes than if they didn't get a handpay. They said something like "I got 15 free spins. By spin 14, I had $1100 and thought," Yes! I don't have to pay taxes! " I forgot I had one more spin. Then spin 15 came and it was a $1230 win! Crap! I ended up paying 33 percent in taxes and left with about $825 instead of a $1100! So messed up! "

How can you afford to play slots at the level you claim if your income is so puny?
Must have a sugar daddy.

If you can't beat that promo( depending on the exact rules and games they would have to be very very stringent not to make it a superb play)you should give up AP.
Sounds like a gold mine to me.
Depending on the situation, if something like this ever comes up again, I'm willing to pay a big wad of cash for the information, if I do know about it. I have paid thousands to people for good information on promos. Like this.

I wasn't talking to you. What he said makes no sense. I'm looking for a further logical explanation. What he said is equivalent to someone saying that they are down 40 dollars on the 25 cent wheel of fortune and haven't hit a spin on the wheel yet.

It was limited to the first 18 people within the 3 hour time limit. All slots throughout the casino.
Plus I was combining it with another play that would have been adversely affected once I passed a certain threshold which I achieved so it was time to move on

I could probably round up a few people.
3 hours is more than enough time. Not knowing what all machines were avaliable but it Sounds like it was worth as much as 1k(even more depending on what they have) in less than 1 hour per hit.

First 18 people. You had to be using your players card or no bonus. It was limited to one jackpot per person
Also it had to be over $2k. Not $1200. So a jackpot of $1999 got you no bonus
You said EVERY JACKPOT.Quote: darkozFirst 18 people. You had to be using your players card or no bonus. It was limited to one jackpot per person

Were you lying then, or are you lying now? J/K.
Nonetheless, depending on the game selection, It was still a good play, you definitely should have played until you got a handpay, win lose or draw. Perhaps a better machine selection was in order.
Having to use your slot card was a given. Without giving it too much thought, I can't remember the last time I was able to play a promo where your players cad was not required. Nowadays, most promo bonuses are all given in free play.
Come to think of it, a few years back I played at a north town casino that had a JP promo where I think they paid cash until they tossed us out.

Im not sure what you mean by playing until a handpay win lose or draw.
Win lose or draw what?
Lose $10k win back $4k? Lose $15k win back $4k? For every $2000+ jackpot(limited to the first 18 :)) you got an $2018 bonus. Win $2k you doubled your money ($4018) but win $10,000 jackpot you only got a 20% bonus ($10,000 + 2018) etc
So it became a set of diminishing returns at that point
I set my loss limit based on a requirement of another play (therefore making a profit at least in one form even if it was eaten up by the jackpot promo but hoping for both) and both my loss limit and what i needed for the other play were passed
There was no point in me throwing good money after bad at that point

Hell yeah
If I just spun minimum 160 times and didnt win a penny im not gonna keep playing at that machine. If i have been winning a little here and there but still no bonus win (so basically I have spun maybe 300 times) and still no bonus spin I am still switching games
Please explain why you would keep sitting an playing or are you following gamblers fallacy? If you keep spinning it has to happen by xyz spins?
I'm too tuckered out to get into this right now. Just make sure you add all that to your AP book, #bestseller (-;Quote: darkozIm not sure what you mean by playing until a handpay win lose or draw.

My earlier question was whether or not you were playing a game with many multiple pay lines. It is a common mistake for people to seek out a game with the highest total per spin amount when playing a loss rebate. To answer your question, it is gamblers fallacy to think that switching machines will bring you better results and yes you can usually figure out a range for results if you know the frequency of occurrence of an event.
I am sorry for asking you a question. It is clear to me that I was giving you too much credit. You go ahead and keep running "the most feared AP team on the East Coast....lol....If I had a casino you wouldn't need a mask. I would roll out the red carpet for you and your associates.

With all due respect, how many folks do you think care to read about endless casino scams? How many copies do you think you'll sell? Even if you force everyone on your teams to pay full price, that's only a couple thousand. Way too many opportunities wasted while writing a book few will care about.

You'd be surprised. There was a guy named Brian Griffin who wrote a book called, "Wish It, Want It, Do It," a trash self help book and he put like 20 blank pages in it and it still became a popular best seller until Bill Maher, Arianna Huffington, and Dana Gould all ripped him to shreds verbally on Real Time show for writing such a piece of crap book and Brian was so flustered he peed on the set and ran off barking like a dog. ;) So, there is a huge chance his Endless Casino Scams book could become a popular best seller. People like reading up on Scams. ;)
I don't mean to imply you do any casino scams, but that is the image most civilians would have of many AP plays.Quote: darkozThe title will NOT be "Endless Casino Scams"
I know three gambling authors well, and have met a few others. I think the consensus among them is dollar wise, they would be better off hustling nickel Ultimate X.
For every MIT book, there are a dozen Blackjack Autumns.
Quote: IbeatyouracesI've made a lot of money off of nickel UX.
One of my neighbors in NY made a couple hundred a week scavenging deposit bottles, and occasionally hit a jackpot by finding something brand new.
Mighty fine work if that's your thing.

I definitely agree with that. I have tried explaining to some people and they are simply convinced its impossible to win consistently in casinos without illegal means
However I have also spoken to many who believe a holy grail method to beat casinos is absolutely possible (most not understanding math and thinking -ev games are beatable by themselves)
