Search function?

Is there a way to search previous threads? I have a question that I'm sure must've been discussed here before

Top right corner and just put in search terms if on a computer.
Same place on an iPhone, I don't know about anything else. The iPhone just has the little magnifying glass, but doesn't say, "Search."

There are a few issues. If I change the window size on my computer, some of the "fixed" features of the site change position. If I have the window wide enough that the WoV logo appears to the left side of the home button (little house), then the search function appears very dimly to the right of "Blogs" and under my user name. However, if I make the window narrower, the WoV logo hops up above the little house and "Articles". With the layout in that configuration, I don't think there is a search button anywhere. At least I can't see it.
In addition, there is the issue that the search function doesn't work very well, which has been discussed previously.
