Tumbling reels, like Secrets Of The Forest and Davinci Diamonds. You can win multiple times on just one spin. Love it.
Double reel columns like Towers Of The Temple where you win on double sections. Love it.
Games that you get the bonus by three scatters anywhere. Coyote Moon, Lotus Flower and many other slot games.
Bonus games that only require 2 bonus symbols. Treasure Of Troy,White Orchid.
Worst slot type games.
Any game where you have to get the bonus symbols 5 times in a consecutive row. I HATE these games like Fire Horse and Carnival Of Mystery.
Also the ones where you have to get the bonus 3 times in a consecutive row. 50 Dragons Electric Boogaloo.
So what about you guys? :)
And I found a game that's not only incredibly easy, but has a 100% return. You don't even have to push any buttons; just put in the money, and it pays it right out. The only problem with it is, it has an environmentally unfriendly name, as if you're supposed to be attacking birds. Wait...that's not what "Bill Breaker" means?
Quote: ThatDonGuyDoesn't Wheel of Fortune require only one bonus (er, "spin") symbol? Okay, it's only on the third reel, but still...

Wheel of Fortune is probably my favorite slot machine. Its just the most fun, and the spin seems to hit pretty frequently.
I love those Azure machines. They have about a dozen that are exactly the same where you have to get 5 bonus symbols ("TWO MORE FOR THE BONUS!"), it selects how much a bonus is worth and then gives you a few free spins. Those machines are such a teaser but the volatility is really good. I don't think I've ever had a losing session on one.
Lastly, Crazy Money Skywheel. The one with the 4 huge LCDs right above it. Such a fun machine, very volatile and it hits the bonus very often.
I have a love/hate relationship with Buy-a-Bonus machines like Acorn Pixie or about two dozen machines you can find in the UK. They can be extremely rewarding (I won £500 once on a £40 bet. I technically won more, £560 I think, but British regulations prohibit the machine from paying out more than £500 per spin) or give you a few spins that pay out nothing. Usually those machines are extremely un-volatile, which is just not fun...
Shocking how quickly you were able to think of these machines and locate videos from your personal hard drive... =D.Quote: AxelWolfI know two of Romes favorite slot machines...
Quote: noy2222I have a thing for slots with a catchy song like Lucky Pony or Money Roll. Of course now that I can listen to those songs whenever I want, there's no need to waste my money on them.
Ooo, thanks for the link. I was thinking about trying to record my own copy of it ever since I first hit a bonus on it when it was new... sounds weird listening to a clean copy of it; I think I almost prefer it with the mild static and distortion of speakers running too loud 24/7 for years.
...Also doesn't hurt I hit a bonus on it for ~400 off of freeplay at The D the other day.
WoF is the all time king. Best is the Pink Diamonds variant, where 2 WoF on a pay line pays back 2 units on a 5 bet. Get top left, center, top right and it pays back 6.
For best song, Giant's Gold. Fe Fi Fo Fum!
Mrs loves the Wizard of Oz games, all the variants. I'm not pulled in by them myself.
Vegas Hits, and any other game with the two bonus wheels up top.
None of these pay any better than any other, but they're the ones that tickle that whatever-it-is that makes people play slots.

About Wizard Of Oz, Not In Kansas Anymore variant, many people say that game SUCKS! They said the FIRST week it was AWESOME, giving a lot of $300 bonuses on $1 bets, but after that it quickly turned to crap and never went good again.
Hot Shots
Quick Hit (but must be 5 physical reels) and max bet <=$2. I've gotten 7 quick hits twice. 8 or 9 would be great. I wait until the 5 quick hits jackpot (starts at 10x bet) climbs to 15x before playing to reduce my average loss a bit.
3 physical reels, 5 line nickel or quarter denom, and once in a blue moon $1 denom
Best slots. Slots with DOUBLE Wild symbols. Lucky Count has The Vampire and The Bat as wild symbols and when they show up together in a line, be ready to get a great win. :)

WTF? Where did this insulting assumption come from? This is meant to be a FUN,engaging thread.
Quote: DonaldjtrumpNo one was insulting you. I said you might from what I read. The rules of the forum were not violated by what I said. If you were offended that might be on you.
I don't know how "Might have a gambling problem," in a thread meant to be fun wouldn't come across as insulting...

LMAO! :D
The question shouldn't be where, but who.Quote: NathanWTF? Where did this insulting assumption come from? This is meant to be a FUN,engaging thread.

BTW, when it comes to Wheel of Fortune, penny machines require you to line up the "SPIN" symbol, whereas on $1+ machines there's only a "SPIN" symbol on the third reel [kind of like that one money game].
Quote: PokerGrinderI think my all time favourite is Betty the Yeti. The music is awesome and the first time I played it when I was 18 I won massive (massive as far as my bet) so that probably helps my love for it. It doesn’t exist much anymore not that I really look for it.
It's still around, older casinos. Saw it 2 places last week.
I miss whodunit and especially winning bid, both wms slots about the same age as betti. Great pays, fun bonuses, felt much more like winning machines than what's out there now.
You get 7 spins to start and the Ying Yang symbol are free picks after the 7 free games are over. You get a screen of Ying Yang symbols and how many YY you got in the free spins is how many YY you get in the picking round. Each YY symbol is covering either free credits or free games. Many of the YY are covering either 10 or 12 games. These are the ones you want. You want to avoid YY only covering two, three, or four times your bet.
You can win like 30 extra free spins after picking the right YY symbols. The spins after the picking round are worth twice the wins. You can get more YY balls and more picks. If you choose free spins, the free spins are three times the wins. If you get any YY balls, you will get only one shot at 3 free spins. If you are lucky to get that one in 15 YY shot, your 3 spins will be worth 4 times the wins. This is very lucrative if you already are Max Betting at 10 times to begin with, so your 4 times the wins is actually more like 40 times the win. Wow. :) With the twice, and triple multipliers from the other free spins you could easily be ending up with $1,000 on just a $3 bet. Very lucrative indeed. ;) :)
Nathan.

I love Coyote Moon. :) It's a simple game that has yielded big wins for me. I have constantly won $40-50 wins on just .20 cents. :)
It was either 3 or 4 progressives.
Anyway, I hit one of them, or so I thought. Underneath the progressive was a line, that if you hit the 5 shown symbols as a stacked panel you MAY have a chance at hitting the progressive. So instead of the progressive, it awarded $25. This was at max bet.
I never saw a game set up that way. Maybe they are common now, but it pissed me off. Usually if it shows the lined symbols to win a progressive it doesn't work like a mystery bonus. I've played plenty of those, where it's clear the top bonus might not be awarded as the top prize.
Ultimately it was my fault for not noticing that variation, but that just made me mad.
One older game with a similar mechanism, I can't quite remember the title, but you have to hit the special symbol on the third reel (acts as wild) on any five if a kind and then you get to choose one of the three reel stops in the third reel. Depending on which one you choose, it will either multiply the win by a certain number and pay again, or it will land on a crown that then spins around and chooses, "Minor, Major, Grand or Bonus."
Anyway, something along the lines of that mechanism is very common with newer slot machines now. I noticed it when someone was playing Game of Thrones, (only because it happened to be right behind where I was at the time) they hit three of the guy on the throne to get to the wheel, the wheel landed on one of the progressive jackpots (forget which) and then they had to pick one of five symbols which ostensibly gave them a one in five shot at that point of hitting the Progressive.
