I did quite a bit of gambling this summer, probably more than I should have. I haven't been to the casino since August, however I continue to receive monthly comps from Harrah's Casino's (Horseshoe CB and Harrah's CB).

I notice that in August I received two $5 comps. In September I received two $10 comps, and in October I received two $15 comps. My question is do these continue to accumulate, or is it merely coincidence?

Thanks

It's probably a seasonal coincidence.

The longer you stay away, the more they increase (up to a limit). This is typical casino marketing practice.

There's an Indian casino that's doing the opposite on me, and I have no idea why. Initially I got coupons for $20 in free chips, but after I didn't show up for a month they immediately bumped it down to $10 on the next month's offer. Oh right - now I'm definitely going to try to make it out there!
