Day 1 - FRIDAY

Worked all day, Driving to Airport with Mrs Q, booked with Southwest
Freq Flier points, not miserable failing Frontier or Spirit, #FAKEAIRLINES ! ! !

SWA oversold by one, got nice $ 560 future trips voucher, #ART of the
DEAL!!! Mrs. Q flying to Vegas, driving back home will catch flight
tomorrow.

Day 2 - SATURDAY

Dropped dogs off, #YORKIEPOO, driving to Airport deja all vu over
again!

Aisle seat, whoop whoop !!!

Stewardess lady my age, SAD. But full figured, NICE.

Watching ESPN 30 for 30 on flight, Olympic Ice skating scandal
ALERT breaking news!!! Terrorism. Nancy HOT, Tonya NOT!!!

Update. ESPN show #FAKENEWS. "Documentary"

Stewardess lady spills a little water on keyboard. No problem,
I say it's a issued company laptop, they have lots more, no harm
done. Free drink ? Don't mind if I do!!!

Decided to take BELL TRANS shuttle to Planet Hollywood.
Stupid, Stupid, Stupid. Taking forever. #NEVER-EVER-AGAIN.

Strip closed on Saturday afternoon due to bus shooting.
Walking from MONTE CARLO to PLANET HOLLYWOOD,
closest driver would take me.

Thank goodness Mrs Q had my suitcase from yesterday.

#BELL-TRANS-SHUTTLE-SUX big league, SAD.

PH Room could use some renovations. Nutty Professor
memorabilia in room a #TOTALJOKE. Not funny and
SO SAD.

Chicken wings, beer & NCAA B-ball at Diamond Lounge.

Mrs. Q makes me try on shoes at Miracle Mile shops.
Not worth arguing about. I don't want shoes. Doesn't
matter. #BUY AMERICAN

Day 3 - SUNDAY

ELLIS ISLAND for steak breakfast, many #LEGAL immigrants
processed at this very site back in the day. AMAZING.

Long day, 2500 Tier Credits to get 5000 Bonus to get back
to TR Diamond Level. Finished up with 2 quad Aces on
8/5 Bonus Poker to stay even. NOT SAD.

Saw Tenors of Rock at Harrah's (2nd time). Apparently
these singers were BREXITED. Low attendance, but
#GREAT SHOW. @Recommended...

Day 4 - MONDAY

Excellent run of luck on FPDW at PALMS. Mrs. Q and I switch
machines after my 2nd quad deuces, stares in disbelief when I
get my 3rd of the morning. #CRAZY-LUCKY...

$ 5 movie day at PALMS theatres. Except for SONY pictures.
ILLEGAL PRICE FIXING??? Saw LIFE anyway. Big cast. Great picture
along lines of orig ALIENS. Cheaper entertainment than gambling.

Checked in at M-Life for annual Vegas vacation offer. Pinnacle
tier matched me when I still had Diamond, M-Life just tier
matched my Pinnacle to PEARL level. #LOVING IT....

Used myVegas redemption for ARIA Buffet. Good crab legs,
GREAT baked salmon, mediocre service.

Day 5 - TUESDAY

Up Early. Mrs. Q still snoozing. Writing Trip Report. May head
to PALMS for 100 point breakfast buffet and Slot tourney.
#FRUGAL-at-HEART.

How many hours were you playing on FPDW to get 3 2222's? (Recently, I hit 4 2222's within 2,000 hands [not FPDW], which is a tad on the lucky side I reckon.)

Great stuff! Sorry you got boned by the shuttle and the shooting aftermath. We stopped taking shuttles years ago because they are usually a pain. That day, I think you were screwed regardless though.

Best Part: Wine included and whole
thing comp'd. Worst Part: Everything else.

Day 6 - Wednesday

Up fairly early, quick cup of Joe and an Iced Tea
for Mrs. Q at McDonalds, #GreatAmericanCompany.


On 202 bus heading to Palms. Interesting cross
section of America and possibly other Countries
on bus.


Met our first time Las Vegas friends at PALMS.
We had Vouchers for breakfast from the
previous day. Called ICE about the
Ommmelllettte Lady, Waiter, & Counter Staff.

Friend started out at 1 line and 1 nickel on
the FPDW. Not worried about him getting
carried away with "gaming".


I know, I know, but we played an hour or
so of 6/5 $5 "blackjack". Great time
had by all. Cashed out up. Called ICE on
dealers #1, #3, and #4.


Palms shuttle back to Caesars Palace
and walked back to PH. Vegas weather
is back, nice and warm compared to
previous chilly days. #GLOBALWARMINGHOAX


Checked out pool at PH. Cool Surfing Flow
Rider thing is $ 25 per half hour. I've played
around with that at a water park close to
home. HARD. Didn't do it here.


Surfing Flow Rider something we definitely
need to have WIZ or M146 try and write about.
PIX/VIDEO would be cool.


Almost Forgot. Try to do at least one new
thing in Vegas each trip. Went to MGM
to see the KA tour. More of a spoken
presentation than tour. But cool to see
stage, etc. Well worth the price, FREE.


Going to see KA tonight thanks to
myVegas. Front row seats but kindof
off to the side. #FRONTROWJOE.
Possibly BELLAGIO Buffet too.


Just learned SOLEIL means "A very
volupsious girl and pretty. Can be jealous
but not overly jealous". Not sure
KA is a real world, will check with
Betsy.


Apparently it is the abbreviation
for ALASKA. Interesting. Will
look into statehood for them.


JUST SAY NO for Puerto RICO.

The show was KA-tastic. I liked it better than
the times I had seen it before, not sure why.

Nice breakfast at MIRAGE. Almost nicer
than the dinner there. Nice made to order
Ommmelllettte. Overall: NICE. Comp'd, even
NICER.


Self serve drinks, OK by me. I like the WENDY's
style COKE machines where you can pick from
umpteen zillion flavors. I just want COKE
ZERO, are you listening #FAILINGMcDONALDS ?

Day 7 - continued


Crazy windy AND cold late this
afternoon.


Did the Bellagio buffet for dinner
thanks to myVegas and MLife.
Not quite as good as I remember,
but pretty good.


Good sushi and had a hand rolled
spicy tuna roll. It was definitely
SPICY in a good way.


Buffet line was short at 4:30 but got
longer and longer as time went
by.


Hanging at the gate at McCarran
for the Redeye back home. Lines
for TSA were short and got through
pretty quickly.

AND... we're home. Short delay due to the
high wind situation, plus another delay at
McCarran while one completely wasted....

...individual was removed from the redeye
flight. No way he could have responded
to crew instructions if needed.


In the waiting area, I thought he was blind or
special needs or something, because he
was standing ( not rocking side to side at
all ) and leaning on another guy.

Mrs. Q thought it might even be alcohol
poisoning. #NOTCOOLBRO / STUPID

Went to bed to take a short hour or so
nap, woke up a couple of times but got
out of bed 5 hours later. #TIRED.


Good trip overall. Ended up down, but
not too much for two people for 7/6
nights !

I'm almost embarrassed to list all the
comps we double-dipped. Here's
just the myVegas list;

- 2 Tix for KA
- 2 Aria Dinner Buffets
- 2 Mirage Dinner Buffets
- 2 Bellagio Dinner Buffets

Never saw the (apparently) highly
coveted (j/k) Tournament of Kings
up as a prize.

Well, you know, space permitting you don't need to be staying there although the shuttle is for hotel guests. It drops off at the FORUM SHOPPES. I suggest tipping the driver a buck or two.

The other option is the shuttle that leaves RIO, or taking the 202 double-decker to the stop just past Las Vegas Blvd. It runs pretty frequently. You can text to RTC and get the estimated next bus arrival time if you know the stop #, which is posted at each stop.
