If Trump supporters weren't worried, they would pressure him once he was President-elect. Without them, he's not about to do it. They don't want to know the truth.

Trump was.wrong about people not caring. His supporters didn't, or at least didn't want to be confronted with the amount of activity with non-allies, the proof of lying about net worth over years, and total non-payment of US taxes.
The rest of us cared. It's a major.failing of the process that Trump was not forced to disclose them by the media, by the party as a condition of supporting him, by federal law. If he then is shown to be an acceptable President (after full discosure), so be it.
Now we're in a position of being used and manipulated by other countries, by Trump himself, or by those acting in his interest, and whatever he's hiding coming to bite him (and by extension, the US) at.any time.
