Hello all. Long time lurker. Figured I would make my first post and say hello. I enjoy gambling now for recreation but wish to do so intelligently. This forum along with the wizards site has been tremendous. I find all this fascinating.

The closest casino to me is Harrahs Cherokee. My neighbor goes often and occasionally I will ride along. My plan will be play video poker here assuming their video poker is fair (Indian Casino). If anyone knows if these machines are the same as Vegas that would be helpful. So far I've been practicing JOB and DDB. I spent countless hours last year reading and practicing blackjack on the kitchen table. I had decent results on two trips to Vegas ( I understand this is short run). I have a full time job with a good salary that I enjoy on most days. I'm looking to generate free room offers and free play while playing at a slight advantage or breaking even. My bankroll is replenishable and I'll be playing at the $1 level preferably.
