Congratulations on your new site, Mike. It looks great.

May many wizards visit ...

By the way, the word "wizard" has an interesting property. The letters 'w' and 'd' are 4 from each end of the alphabet. The letters 'i' and 'r' are 9 from each end of the alphabet. The letters 'z' and 'a' are 1 from each end of the alphabet. The numbers 1,4 and 9 are the first three perfect squares.

Very interesting to read about the word "wizard" - thanks!

My congratulations to Mike and "J.B." - this is an exellent new site!

I have not yet been to Vegas - because Im sitting quite far away here in Northern Europe.
We have state monopol casinos here - In Sweden 4 casinos called Casino Cosmopol- run by Svenska Spel , in Helsinki- Finland Grand Casino - also monopol owned by RAY and at the Aland isle we have PAF casino - also monopol casino - collecting in money for the island governement.

I can write later some lines about these casinos - in case someone asks or if somebody from this forum is planning to visit Scandinavia.
I myself is planning to visit Vegas in 2010 - and with the help from this page I can prepare myself properly for the visit. Thanks!

Thanks. That is very interesting about the word "wizard," I never knew that.

About gambling in Scandinavia, when I was in Finland in 1988, ties in blackjack went to the dealer. What a jip! The only time I have been back to Scandinavia since then was two days in Iceland in 2000, but I only saw slots there, which I don't play.

How can you not toss $40 into a slot in Iceland just to say you played slots in Iceland.

Was coins, tokens, tickets, bill in Hand cashouts?

I was low on Icelandic money, didn't speak a word of the language, and the place was totally empty. Regarding the second question, I don't know. The machines looked simple yet new, like what you might see at the pizza parlor in Oregon. I'd guess it is like here -- cash or ticket in and ticket out.
