Hi Everyone
I'm new to this forum and found it via watching some videos on YouTube about craps and Mississippi stud poker. I'm not much of a frequent gambler but i did just come back from 4 days in Las Vegas and made $800 playing craps thanks to some hot shooters at the table. However my question is about Mississippi Stud poker. How many decks of cards are used by the casinos for this game?

It's dealt from a single deck. Here's the Wizard's page about the game (although, the page doesn't mention how many decks are used.)

Thanks. Are all poker games from a single deck? I know blackjack uses several decks to make card counting more difficult.

The poker games are each dealt from a single deck (see Wizard's list of games under "Poker Variants.")

In Atlantic City, almost all blackjack games are dealt from 6 or 8 decks.

Texas Shootout is the only poker based game I know of that uses multiple decks.

Where on Long Island are you? I live in Vegas now but just moved here from Mineola.
