I did not know much about Tim Kaine. I recently looked up his most recent voting record on numerous issues before the Senate and different ratings by various groups that rate Congress.
I could NOT find even one Senator who voted further to the Left than Tim Kaine. Not that there's anything wrong with that, I'm just sayin.
Even socialist Bernie Sanders voted more conservative than Kaine. Barbara Boxer, even Al Franken, I couldn't find anyone. So Hillary picked a good one here. Apparently further Left than Fidel Castro. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The funny thing is, a lot of people are trying to paint him as some conservative.... Donald Trump is in the middle of a tweet storm right now pretending the Bernie voters should hate him.
He's too far left for the righties, not far enough left for the lefties. It's odd.
Quote: gamerfreakTrump tweeted that TK is in bed with the big banks. Not that Trump's twitter feed is a bastion of truth, but is there anything to that?
I have not studied Kaine's history at all other to see that he is rated 100% "Liberal" in voting by one conservative site, so I don't know much about the guy. Certainly not enough to have an informed opinion about him.
I did do a quick search on the banking subject and saw this (dated 7/20/2016):
"Kaine signed two letters on Monday urging federal regulators to go easy on banks ― one to help big banks dodge risk management rules, and another to help small banks avoid consumer protection standards."

I said this previously in another post. All one has to do is go back to 2007-2008 to see the Subprime Mortgage Crisis was heavily influenced by the Democrats and their deregulating policies. Now, here you have Kaine who is trying to soften and deregulate big and small banks - the same banks who were criminally involved with falsifying information during the same crisis and influencing companies like Standard and Poor's ratings to mislead both investors and borrowers. Is 8-9 years enough for anyone who remembers what happened to suddenly forget? I think not.
The democratic party is killing America with borrowing money from the left pocket to fund the right pocket. They initially show positive gains on soft interest loans that suddenly balloon at the end and hit the average tax payers financially in the gut.
Trump may paint a poor picture of America but I want a non-politician as President (preferably a former CEO) and you need to have a politician as a VP in order to communicate well with Congress. Clinton and Kaine are the types that will paint the Donald as dangerous on every front while they keep the true danger hidden to the American people. I'll go the non-PC route this time and vote for Trump. He has my support.

The folks in the battleground state that keep electing him.

I briefly skimmed the link, it appears to be just quotes. I don't know how to break it to the guy who posted it, but sometimes politicians stretch the truth a little bit. They can post all the quotes they want or all the opinions they want, but I was talking about his VOTING RECORD. Kaine is as far left as they come. I did not voice my own opinion of that, I just reported the facts.
