If nothing else this is something new and in the Bahamas no less. I wonder if they'll have blackout dates and restrictions that make it terrible. I'd think they wouldn't restrict it "too" much as they JUST opened the partnership so they want to actually make people "a little" happy for now.
Thoughts?
Well now, I didn't get that email, maybe they don't love me anymore. I didn't get the last email that was posted here either, about a bonus thingy. My vouchers/mailers dropped exactly/precisely 50% from March to April. Now this is a tribal joint, just managed by CET, but I'm wondering now.Quote: RomesSo an email just rolled in from Total Rewards... Apparently they've partnered with Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. If you're at least Platinum you get a complimentary stay, with more perks the higher up you are (platinum, diamond, aspirations 1, aspirations 2, and 7 stars). All the fine details can be viewed here

Wondering, WTF did I do this time?......;-)
The room was based on 4 nights two years previous, where we both played at a similar level.
Thanks for the tip about the Royal Towers. Definitely going to try to make that happen then =P.
I would think that the offer is an offer, good for anyone that is aware of it. Maybe not, but since it's an email offer, not a hard copy mailer, I don't know how you could be refused..Hmmmmm. Atlantis is pretty cool, been there as a shore excursion off a cruise boat ( for like $150 each for the four of us ). The BJ didn't look good to me, don't remember why now, been a couple years....Prolly the min/max spread.Quote: RomesThe email just went out recently... I'm sure you'll get it within a day, as this is a promotion that's publicly listed on their promotions page. So while Platinum and up get a comp, it's listed for all to see (not special invite or anything).
We did the tour of the aquarium stuff, played in the waterpark for awhile, the racing rivers attraction in tubes was pretty cool, I went down a couple times. My sons spent most of their time playing ping pong on a bad table in the picnic area by the pool. I paid $150 each for them to mostly play ping pong. We have a ping pong table at home, it's free......jeez. Was there a symbol for that face palm thing that used to be popular here? The most recent time we were there we went snorkeling as an excursion, it was pretty good, nuttin' to brag about.
The last time I looked (6 months ago) the Baha Mar Mega Resort and Casino still wasn't open, and construction was stalled though the place looked virtually complete from a distance. The world is full of dreamers, and full of crooks.... Sometimes they are the same people, and they might just run the gubment in the Bahamas...
Quote: RomesApparently they're on a separate rewards system. I wonder if they'll do tier matching moving forward? Any info on this in your past experiences?

In order to get your Royal Tower room fully comped you have to play average $50/hand table games or $3 per pull slot play for 4 hours a day. At UTH they count $15 ante as $30/hand. So, bet $25/hand, at the end they may cover the room.
I have a series of 6 blog posts covering our stay, if you want to read them. We really enjoy Atlantis.
Quote: HunterhillMy offer gives me a choice between the cove or the reef ,anyone know which one is better?
They are for different types of travelers. Reef is more family oriented, Cove is more luxury. Both have separate amenities from the rest of the resort.

I read your blog posts on Atlantis, both trips. And about your career as an auto thief in Ohio. All well done, thx.
Looked at the offer on the Promotions page, looks pretty good, but some odd stuff in the fine print. Isn't there always some odd stuff in the fine print?
Since I thought about it I looked at updates on Baha Mar as well, still stalled in legal maneuvering and international intrigue. And still billions already spent. Jeez. Harrah's and/or Caesars was/is in the Baha Mar development in a big way at one time, so I find the partnership with Atlantis to be interesting, or perhaps odd.
Except it's on their main promotions page, so it's not... =P.Quote: RSThis sounds like a Nigerian Prince scam.....
Just click "Fun and Sun are NOT for me!" in the pole then RS, ha.
At the Atlantis casino, the lowest min bet blackjack tables (that are not automatic shuffle machines, which seem to becoming more popular) are $15 minimum during the day sometimes if slow, but are $25 during the evenings. Every table was often packed with a significant wait. They were all H17, no surrender 8 decks with about 75% penetration. The $25 dollar minimums were a little steep for my personal bank roll...
