This happens more than you know in Nevada. Poker players and BJ players in particular I know got into situations like this. Not for such big amount in the article but still a good sum of money. Some folks I know are still fighting through the legal process and have not gotten their money back. Another are negotiating for a lower unspecified amount. The last one is a total major WTF.

Seems I read this somewhere:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, pa- pers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describ- ing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infa- mous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Oklahoma sucks on so many levels, but it's super cheap to live here and I have a pretty decent job.

My son was stationed at an AFB there
for a year and said it was like doing time.
