Any of the books have odds posted on this massive gas leak outside LA ending up a huge ball of flame?

No wonder they do not want the pipeline from Canada running along side the thousands already in the states

Interesting thing how they plan on shutting this in by drilling a second well that will run into this one thousands of feet below ground. Tap into start pumping that cement down to seal it off.... I sure wouldn't want to be anywhere near that drilling rig once it gets close to that other cracked casing..... worked on a gas well once that had done the same thing but nowhere near that volume coming back.... we ran a plug down the casing so far and set it below the crack in the casing... leak stopped.

here is what could happen ( I worked many of times in this area of Alberta)

Interesting PR videos.

Until a month ago I lived in Chatsworth which was just a couple miles from Porter Ranch. Outside of Porter Ranch there is no smell or even sense of danger.

I once heard there were huge caverns under the San Fernando Valley filled with stored natural gas. Is this true?

There was one news report about restrictions on flights above the leak to prevent a fire but never heard anything else.

I moved about 40 miles away but my office is still in Chatsworth.
