When you hit a slot/vp payout of $1200+, you get a w2-g.
At caesars properties, they ask you for your rewards card + drivers license.
lets say you weren't playing on the machine w/a card (for whatever reason).
and you don't want to give them your rewards card because you don't want a big win on your record (so to keep the free slot play offers coming).
does not giving them your card matter since you're giving them your drivers license?

I'd be concerned that they're going to look you up anyway and "charge" the win to your players card account.
I'm sure someone is going to chime in here and say that offers are based solely on your theoretical loss. It's been my experience though that under certain circumstances, actual loss can come into play. So I like the way you're thinking, I just don't think it's going to work.

Companies I have worked for will assign the jackpot to your player account if you are in the system and not playing with your card.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

This is what I'd imagine they do... Let alone the few times I've had hand pays I actually found I got more offers after? Perhaps I was "playing more" on those days chasing "an edge" and that resulted in more free play, but none the less this has been my experience.Quote: DRichCompanies I have worked for will assign the jackpot to your player account if you are in the system and not playing with your card.
Playing it correctly means you've already won.

well I got another w2-g and this time I know I didn't earn any points that day because I didn't use my Caesar's card at all.
slot attendant asked for my drivers license and players card.
I gave her both since they already have my license associated to my players card from previous w2-g's.
(I had my players card in the machine the previous time I hit a handpay jackpot.)
lets hope your theory about MORE free play is correct :)

My two cents -most casinos yes will look up your card and assign jackpot however it has zero effect on your offers whatsoever
I'm 99.9 percent sure of that - at least at the casinos I play at
