For those who don't already know, I'm not just a forum member. I'm one of the CRAZY (maybe craziest) people who also admits to working in this industry.

We have free passes to this year's G2E. Actually plenty of other folks do to, but you need to sign up by August 31st if you want to go.

Basically, I encourage people to sign up even if there is only a 1% chance you will go.

It doesn't cost anything to use these free passes, and if you can't make it, NO PROBLEM.

I encourage everyone who has any interest in the casino industry in general go to this show and HAVE FUN! I mean if you were not already planning to go, you should go to HAVE A GOOD TIME!

It's basically a place where you can play all the latest machines for free. And when the typical hold for a brand new slot machine here in Vegas is 12% or higher, it really makes a lot of sense to play them all in FREE PLAY!

I apologize in advance to any admins if I didn't put this in the right place. My main motivation was to get this out now in case anybody was not aware that the deadline for free passes is right upon us. But feel free to move this wherever it should have gone if I picked the wrong place (and/or edit out this comment). THANKS!

Last year, several people wanted free passes two weeks after this deadline. So please, go ahead and register now!

Probably about 1 in 30 people are average Joes. Large percentage of attendees (88%+) are employees of casinos looking to decide which slot machines to buy for the next few months or more, or to attend meetings, meet up with other industry insiders, and make deals, and so on.

The Average Joe has the most fun at this event. Just like a casino with all the latest games put on freeplay basically.

Most games on the floor will hit the casino any time from November through February.

This is just from our ad for our stuff, but they are having this whole "ENTERTAINMENT" thingy or whatever going on to make it more like a real casino.

They're going to have a whole thing, I don't even know all the details, with food and drinks and all kinds of stuff. It's going to be really awesome this year for players to come and play!

Here's some more information about the cool setup that is totally new this year geared at creating a casino environment for attendees to just enjoy the games and atmosphere and have fun. I think it's going to be awesome!

Awesome, Bob. Glad I decided to take a gander at your response.

I look forward to meeting you too.

Today is the day everyone needs to register in case they choose to go. It's a $225 value to register today (it will cost $225 to go to the exhibits after the deadline).

Please, register as many folks as you would like. The resort experience is going to be very cool, I think.

Obviously, the show isn't meant to attract Average Joes. But, with all the free passes provided, there are plenty there. Just don't make a pest of yourself and you will be well tolerated. IE: Remember that the games are there for the buyers to try, so don't camp out at a really cool game. Try it? Sure. But after 10-15 minutes, move on.

And if you do go, be sure to join the WoV gang for dinner and gambling Wednesday!
