Vp- was hitting everything.
Low pairs improves to 2pair or trips, 4 to a flush hits, 2pair into full houses.

But i was there only to earn enough points to satisfy an offer then was going to play poker.

So I walked away from this hot machine.
It wasn't easy.
I had to tell myself (a few times) that its random and could turn ice cold for the next 100 hands.

And I still took a min after I cashed out to walk away.
Logic won (eventually)

I usually play "a few more rounds" after qualifying for (whatever) or burning off my FSP, if it's "hot", just in case fortune happens to be favoring the player of that machine at the moment.

Caught dealt quad aces doing this, just the other day.

I see no harm in continuing to play, so long as you're winning.
May the cards fall in your favor.

I've seen people walk around feeling the machines to see which one is hot.

Tap the screen, tap the Super Times Pay symbol on the screen, knock on the screen, hold/unhold the card(s) you're throwing away, etc, etc. And yet they call me an idiot for playing with an advantage. Sigh, plops will never learn.

I equate this problem to a fast moving stock when it surpasses fundamentals. Keep riding it up by raising your stop loss until the trend breaks.

yeah, thought about that.
I was +$330 on a $2 machine.

play till I drop to $300.
if I get over $300 then play till I drop to $400.
etc

but I stuck to my original plan and left when I completed the promo.
changing your exit plan during playing is not discipline to me.

next time i'll follow your suggestion about raising my exit point after I hit my promo goal if I'm on a hot machine (which is few and far in-between).
