Can they be worn at the table?
If so, how much can they be used?

I would imagine you could wear it at a table game but not operate it by touching.
Poker room, they could probabbly care less. I always have headphones to listen to music and surf the internet on a tablet while playing poker.
When somebody doesn't believe me, I could care less. Some get totally bent out of shape when not believed. Weird. I believe very little on all forums

so sounds like no policy.
I agree, I can guess what they might do...just curious if they have articulated a policy.

I haven't heard anything about anyone having a problem with them. Cell phone rules probably apply.Quote: slackyhackyCan they be worn at the table?

I would assume that they treat Apple watches the same as iPhones.

Well, you'll be recharging it rather frequently, damn thing has to be charged every day, even w/o app usage. Talk about an addiction syndrome...
Some people need to reimagine their thinking.

I have been waiting for operations to approach regulatory about the watches but so far nothing. If the floor does finally broach the subject then using the same policy in place for smart phones would be suggested. I think that will be what most casinos will be doing. The glasses were talked about a lot when they were first released but there has been pretty much silence after the watches were released.

So what are the rules for smartphones at casino? I'm mostly curious about Craps , blackjack and slots.
So Wizard, still no basic strategy for strip poker huh?

No one talks about the glasses since they were essentially a flop and everyone lost interest and casinos make you take off sunglasses so making you take those off would not be a far fetch. I could see people being aggravated being asked to take off a watch
No longer hiring, don’t ask because I won’t hire you either

It really seems to vary. When the GM asked about smart phones at the place I work, we basically said the slot floor was fine but to be cautious in the pits. Now other places have a zero use policy which seems a bit over the top. As long as it was used only sporadically and briefly, operations is pretty lenient in the pit in general. Use it a lot and it will spark some attention. Craps, blackjack, and slots I don't see any huge issues as long as the use is brief. Get caught with a app that assists game play and you will likely be 86ed and/or have the police called. Also taking pictures would elicit a warning mainly due to fear of other guests not wanting to be included in any pictures.
Do understand though there is no consistent policy applied to all casinos when it comes to smart phones. Some will be paranoid and frown on all use while most places will be fairly reasonable. Also understand some of the casino's paranoia is warranted. A Russian crew was able to attack some old slot machines through apparent use of smart phones. There has not been any further news on how, but it has spooked the casinos a bit. There is also worry regarding roulette wheel tracking apps so smart phone use in that area will be watched closely. Sorry I can not be more informative on this issue but casinos are just all over the board on this one. Will say this though, what you view on your phone can be viewed by surveillance cameras.
