Internet warps perceptions of others
In the following link you will observe a computer dude trashing his computer. My perception of a few members here who did the exact same thing when I posted my first trip report.
Sorry, but some are so "intellectually lazy", so true and such a real fact.

The bulk of these were posted in about a 12 hour period. Problem solved. Suspend the victim. Nothing above could be construed as an insult could it?

It was the "intellectually lazy" comment, alluded to in several threads in various forms this morning. The insult was directed at "a few members".
As I said before, there remains no evidence that lion is anything other than he says he is. The comments 1BB quoted were certainly pointed, but none of them individually rose to the level of a suspend-worthy insult. But the aggregate was why I asked people to back down, as it came perilously close to trolling, and then where could the line be drawn in this event? The number of directed comments was also why lion was given more latitude than some of you might feel was due a new member in the number of comments.
The whole thing needs to simply stop, in all directions.
Nap time. I highly recommend it, though I'm off cookies and milk afterwards. :)

Dear Jungle King, tis true that several well established members on this forum were not nice to you when you started posting. They believed that probably you were here to cause trouble, to create some Internet drama. You played into their hand by being not so very nice yourself.
