The secret of comps given for table play or property/gaming credits is one of the best kept secrets I have ever seen. No-one I have ever talked too or met while gambling has a knowledgeable answer as to what kind of points earned, or how it is calculated. I can talk with APers all day long and learn the best strategy for a game, but never have I listened to a person explain at what rate casinos give points to players at table games.

The United States has had whistle blowers, such as Bradley Manning, Julian Assange, and spies that have sold America's secrets, the Walker family.

How is it that no dis-enfranchised (not really a word until Obama took office) insider has ever come forward?

Or am I just stupid and missed out learning the formula they use? They post the formula for slots and VP, but never speak of table games.

time played, average bet, house edge of game played. decisions per hour gives you your theoretical loss.....they comp back a percent of that number.....any decent host can get you the percent at their store.

Can a mod delete the other three threads?

3 thread copies in a second might be a record. Mason, if a post or thread seems to delay, please try not to rehit the post or new thread button. It leads to duplicates.

As Ontario said, if you have a good rapport with a host, you can get these numbers.

Yup the tried and true formula is A*H*D=TL*y%= comps

A is pretty much up to whoever is rating the game
H is decided by whoever runs the table games (I'm assuming it's still about 1% for average blackjack players, who knows)
D is set by the guy above.
y% is what they are giving back in comps. This number probably gets lower and lower as the years go by.

Probably your best bet is to play an hour and talk to a host and see what you can get from your average bet. $200 average bet/hr seems to be a magical number on the strip to get RFB, obviously less as you move lower and lower on the casino hierarchy.

The only definitive answer I got from someone at a casino was at 4 Queens/Binions, when they said if I played 4 hours a day on $25 blackjack they can get me in a suite. But then again it's 4 Queens/Binions, so take from that as you will.
