Got bored and lost discipline (and my bankroll)

there was a wait to play poker. Had a $1000 bankroll.
I vultured Ultimate X already so I sat down at my favorite fun VP game ($1 taphouse version of triple play deuces wild).
I usually play this to get the minimal points to get freeplay offers.
Last week I hit quad deuces. +$800 profit.
but I've made my minimal points quota already.
but I was bored so I played it again.
well this time it sucked $500 from me before I hit a bonus round. and I made $0 in the bonus round. :(
and lost the other $500 almost as quickly.
Havent lost discipline like this in years. :(
I was chasing loses... trying to get back to breakeven instead of enjoying the fun of playing the -EV game.
fortunately, the thought of going to the ATM to get more $ never entered my mind.
I've only gotten more $ twice and it was for poker. and both times ended badly.
Now i was broke, and I went home.
