So do you suppose this guy is cut and pasting all of our PMs, or is he a bit more sophisticated and is running a scripted prog?

If I were doing it (I'm not), I'd use a script. AutoIT is pretty darn easy.

Spammer = history. I did not receive the PM, but was told by PM by someone before AoS posted it was going on, so was dealing with it while this thread was building. Please read this post about PM policy in general reference spammers as well. And please don't contact this clown (probably don't have to say that to any of you, but for the record).

Who else thinks it would be fun to mess with mr martin? I could resurrect my PC from 4 generations ago to get ICQ back.
So, given what little information we have now, how would we run a scam to turn the tables on this and make a little profit?

I bet a few of you will have some great ideas

Since he already 'put $700 in Brovada', I could use some of our members foolproof baccarat systems to double his money, before he decides to withdraw it. No sense setting for $350 when this could be parlayed into a few thousand first....

OMG! This was a scam???? But he sounded so nice, I only had to send him $100 upfront for earnest money.

I think his daughter wants to come live with me, she's looking for a nice guy and a relationship, looks don't matter to her, but shes stuck in a hospital and they won't release her until she pays her bill.

He might send me a check for $3000. If I cash it for him, I get to keep half and send him the rest. What could go wrong?

He didn't mention to me that we wasn't going to be logging back in or looking at all forum.

This post reminds of the the hot female convicted felons that posted singles profiles during their rec time. Most of the 19-25 year olds were in there for drugs. I sent them letters, offering a nice, warm place to say rent free--in exchange for sex and housework. Still no replies. I hope I don't wind up murdered, cuz I'm pretty sure I gave them my address.
