Just wondering if anyone's ever tried this before. I'm looking to make very small wins every single day---say, $5 to $10. I've been pretty consistent at getting this amount, and it dawned on me that, instead of going for more and losing my profits, is it possible to make just $5 a day if you have the discipline to quit right away? If so, what do you think the minimum bankroll would be to be able to do that?
That'd be $150 extra a month, not too bad! And of course I'd do this on the $5 machines because they pay out the most.
Thanks!
What does PER DAY have to do with anything(it doesn't)? Does everything reset the next day? When is the next day, after you sleep, after midnight?Quote: johnnyc77Hey, everyone,

Stopping when you are ahead is meaningless if you are going to continue to play the next day, week, month, year or hour. 100 short session all add up to the same as 1 long session, unless you believe a particular machine allows you to win $5 or $10 at the begging(you didn't give that indication or belief)
What happens when you lose right away? what do you do when you lose 5 days in a row and never get ahead?
There has to be 1000 ways to make 3x that amount per day.
Where do you live?
Just playing bonus slots or +EV low limit nickel VP getting some bounce back will make more than $20 a day.
Probably over 100 casinos online that give you $10 to $100 in free money free spins (with particular requirements) Start with http://www.latestcasinobonuses.com/
The new part owner of this site started with casino bonuses and built it into what seems to be a multimillion dollar business.
My vegas can probably earn you a few bucks per day from home, including many others like it(Family feud)
there's a free app that pays you to drink coffee and rate the place that possibly earns over 150 a month it's called Rewardable.
Playing tight ABC poker and picking good games should earn you 8 an hr in a 1/2 NL with small buyins. Casino have poker promotions that add $2 to $12 per hr.Quote: johnnyc77That's what I thought, thanks for the reply! Looks like getting good at hand reading (in Holdem) is my only shot at attaining a goal like this...... blah
Thanks for your reply, I didn't know about any of this! I checked out myVegas on Facebook and it doesn't reward you with cash comps, though, which is what I'd be looking for. Do you know of any other apps that give cash comps/rewards? I looked at the Family Feud app on Facebook also and it doesn't look like it gives you any rewards.
(I know it's getting off-topic, but I've just learned that there's 100's of mobile apps like Rewardable...definitely going to look into that).
Thanks very much, again!

Thanks!
EDIT: Wait, looks like all I needed to do was sign up. Any idea how much you get and how often you collect the small amounts?
2nd EDIT: Found the page where it explains all the rewards! Thanks! :)
They absolutely give free play, comps ,show tickets for My Vegas. Renewables app gives cash. Family Feud app gives you Amazon gift cards.Quote: johnnyc77Unfortunately I'm in the U.S. so I can't do any online gambling for money.

Many online casinos allow US players.
Many other FB games can be converted into cash including some poker games.
Many online survey sites pay cash.
You have to research everything better, there's tons of stuff.
I don't really spend time messing around with all of it, but my GF gets tons of free stuff, Free play, comps, cash, walmart gift cards, McDonald's all the time.
She got an entire night out for us the other night using this stuff. Room, freepay, buffets, show. She feels good doing it for us knowing she earned it all herself.
I see no reason you couldn't make $25 a day if you look hard enough
Someone just posted how to get free new bitcoins type of currency (probably over now)
Sign up for a few casino Affiliate programs, you can advertise on Face Book, Chat rooms message board and other social media, You need 1 person to make $13 a day.
You can probably make $150 signing up for all the GreenDot type debit cards.
No not really for the games(casino bonuses and affiliate programs I know a fair bit about, but they are all different, reading though the details and signing up is the hard part ) There's an entire thread here talking all about MyVegas.Quote: johnnyc77Thanks for the info - how do I get started on that website? I found the free slots, but I don't see any info about collecting rewards for playing/reviewing/rating.
Thanks!

I'm sure someone knows way more than I do about all of that free game stuff. I usually just find them, read through it quick, make sure it's legit then tell my GF. Eventually she may try like only 20% of them from her Ipad(Doctors office, lines, DMV, Watching a TV show), and then she figures out the details. Then through trial and error she finds the best way for her to do it. I find it all interesting and fun to find them, but tedious and not worthwhile for me to actually do it.
I think she said she has enough MyVegas points for a MGM Wedding( What's the grooms name, I asked).
Quote: johnnyc77is it possible to make just $5 a day if you have the discipline to quit right away?
Obviously yes. It's still unlikely, since the expectation is to lose (slots take in more than they pay out), but it's not uncommon to hit a win early on that pushes your credit balance at least $5 above your buy-in.
Quote: johnnyc77That'd be $150 extra a month, not too bad! And of course I'd do this on the $5 machines because they pay out the most.
If you can make it work for you, good luck. For me, out in the hinterlands, $5 doesn't even cover the gas to get to the casino. If I stopped when I was up $5, I'd be losing money overall.
My suggestion is that if you're looking to make $5, a $5/credit slot machine is not the way to go. $50 into a 25c 3 line video poker is what I'd look at. You're only looking to pick up 20 credits at that level; pretty easy in my experience.
If it has to be gambling related, martingale at blackjack with positive count shoes. (Backcount, and leave and continue the progression at another table if the shoe goes negative).
Wouldn't worry about getting backed off if all you're after is a measly 5 bucks.
That's almost just as crazy as playing a slot. The only difference it the AVERAGE slot has an overall higher HA.Quote: Dieter

Actually, your better off playing specific bonus slots over the best Low denom VP available(disregarding VP like UX or VP promotions ) IE. a penny must hit slot(thousands of opportunities available) played correctly would be worth more than a 1% positive nickel machine(VERY, VERY RARE).
Quote: johnnyc77I thought low denomination slots are the worst in terms out payouts?
There are Progressives you can vulture, including must-hits which have been discussed, at-length, both here and WoO as well as slots with opportunities to vulture Bonus Games or features such as Rock Around the Clock.
Rock Around the Clock, for example, may not be worth that much in terms of pure cash, I put the expectation at about +$10-15 if you find the clock at 9:00, or better, and 8:00 is playable...but the play is going to take no more than ten minutes, one way or the other, so that's $60-$90 per hour played. You're not going to make a living vulturing Rock Around the Clock, exclusively, obviously...and some would even consider the ER laughable in terms of pure dollars and cents, but if you're in the casino anyway, it's worth knowing about and looking at the clock if you happen to be nearby.
