I have some comped Penn & Teller tickets for Saturday October 18th. I went on stubhub to try to sell them or at least to see what they go for and there are none for sale for that day. For Sunday the next day they are selling on Stubhub for 160. For Saturday it recommends I price them at 175. I just a have a few questions if anyone knows
- How likely would it be that I could just sell these tickets at the door, and do you think I would be able to get more than their face value (105 bucks) since on stubhub they are all selling for 160 (and thats on the next day that has tickets still available)
- Would anyone on here want to buy them?

My tickets are for section 2, row G which is basically right in front of the stage in the middle if you are interested.
I'm sure I can just find someone at the Rio box office who wants to buy them on Saturday, I'm more curious how much these tickets go for if anyone knows. I also imagine the Rio frowns upon people reselling these, so if anyone has any expertise in the area it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Those that are diamond or 7 star with Harrah's (total rewards) can get Penn and teller tickets free each month and lots of those people are trying to sell comp tickets also around the Rio. It is against total rewards policy to do so but that never stops them. So you may be in competition with those people if you are going to sell your tickets.
I doubt you will get what you paid for them and won't get what they are actually worth. People are leery of buying tickets from strangers due to counterfeits and scams.
They will be hard to unload unless you discount them in my opinion

I don't think it is worth the trouble as Vegas said since many people are worried about buying off strangers. Stubhub is probably your best option.

There are still mezzanine level tickets for $70 on Viator for that date.

good advice, thanks for the responses. I will try to stubhub them in the future. If I can't sell them the day of guess I'll be going to a Penn and Teller show!

Better late than never, but I was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and got a seat in almost that exact location for $55 from the 1/2 price ticket place in front of Bally's.
Show is great by the way.
