Good for you… I know this year is giving you guys a rough time at this point, and I want you and your partner to know that I truly hope you both continued success. I also believe that your insights are honestly helpful in trying to show the rookies what it actually does take to make a living from it. This is by no means an easy task, and requires serious love of the game and great faith in the numbers to even have a chance of living off it.
All I’m trying to point out and stress especially to the young and unprepared, is how hard it actually is to be successful enough at card counting to make a living from it.
Many counters on several of the forums no doubt give the impression their god’s gift to math and are making a killing in today’s environment. I only wish I had the facts to expose the truth.
I’m an old man and have certainly been around the gambling block. I still gamble and visited many casinos all over the world. I was lucky and fortunate to live and still live the life I have.
I’m truly concerned for the young gamblers. Some day if the opportunity arises I’ll probably share some of my stories. I’ve witnessed some very wealthy people get seriously hurt from gambling. Luckily for me I was gifted knowing when to cool off throughout my life.
Teaching people how to gamble which gives them the best odds and chances of a win is a great idea, especially when it’s done for entertainment or for side income if possible.
Personally, I think too many people on these forums are talking a massive amount of bullshit, and put stupid thoughts into rookie’s heads, leading them down a false road of false hopes and self destruction.

It's called learning and paying your dues.
Everybody has to get broke a few times to
understand what this is all about.

Not to be confused with Buzzo or Buzzard.
That person automatically loses the debate and the thread ends.Quote: 4ofaKindif an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Hitler or Nazism.
Quote: djatcI was expecting stories of you with a ken uston like performance playing 7 spots of $1000 on a monster count and winning..... While wearing a 1980s drug dealer getup after snorting some coke in the casino bathroom.
Isn't that how all card counters operate?
Damn straight, that's how I count cards.
