Of the seven mentioned, five are Latinos. What's
up with that, only 30% of Vegas is Latino. Here's
the one they captured.

Seems like some of these are pretty small potatoes, like the $100 bill trick. 6 counts? that is like $480-$540 depending on if he switched with $10 or $20. How is that even a felony?

And then the case of the Reno sportsbook that had one guy count the bank? Geez, that's just stupidity and almost asking for trouble. I don't condone criminality, but I can't feel bad for them either.

low amounts relative to the severity of the crimes. I've always wondered how much money it would take the average person to break a law and disappear with the money.

That 30% number is NOT correct, EB. Please don't bother citing any published sources, because I just don't care. I live here and the Hispanic population is far more than 30%. I am sure there is under reporting by illegals and I really don't want to get into all that kind of discussion, but I can absolutely 100% assure you 30% is way low. 50% is more realistic and even THAT may be low.

Damn and here I was going to say only 25%. It really depends on were you hang out. U must be chilling at Circus Circus and down town.

I would guess they are harder to catch then White boys and don't hide their crimes as well.

I'm not sure where kj is hanging out, but 30% seems wayyy too high.

I'm sure after some of these crimes, they thought to themselves, "Wait, this is illegal?"

I was basing my view more on folks that live here, rather than tourist on the strip or downtown. Things like going to the food market or to Walmart. I guess my view might be slightly tainted, because my first few years here, I rode public transit daily and the ridership was disproportionately Hispanic. Personally I live in an area that is not 50% Hispanic. But then we drive through some areas that there isn't a white person to be found....and I mean large chunks of areas.

Las Vegas is 40% white, 25% Black, 45% Hispanic, and 30% Asian, for a total of 140%. We're over the top. And we're empowered by diversification.

Wow! You know a person's nationality by their name?
So, there is a David. What? Latino? Jew? Irish?
And Patrick? Patrick Curtin may be English-sounding, French-sounding, Spanish even.

Jubreal Chahine is more Arab than Latino.
