I am by all accounts a low roller. I play, the majority of the time, in Tunica the "low roller capital" of the world. I had been going once a month a staying a couple of nights. I always got the nights comped. Due to a change in situation I haven't been to Tunica in several months. I figured my offers would go away completely and I'd have to play awhile to get them back. Surprisingly they have kept coming. Not only have they kept coming but they have actually increased.
Is this normal for casinos to do when you haven't played in a while? I have been recieving offers for free tournement entries and four free nights anytime instead of two free nights Sun through Thurs.

That is not unusual at all. It makes sense too -- they are competing for your business. In their computers you are still the same guy who plays that much every time he goes.
If you showed up and played less than usual (or didn't play), that would have an adverse effect on your offers.

They assume you are taking your action to one of their competitors and want you back. An AP tries to find the minimum they can play to maximize what the casinos will give them.
At my age, a "Life In Prison" sentence is not much of a deterrent.

Thats why there are players cards and bar codes on all those coupons and stuff like that... they track your play and if THEIR computer does not see you for awhile, they assume you are going elsewhere or saving up for Vegas or something like that .... and their computer starts sweetening the pot for awhile until they hear from you.
