Dear Wizard, if I loosely play 79 possible openings, how often can I expect to hold one of these openings in a 8-handed game of Texas Hold'em Thanks.

1: It doesn't matter the amount of players in the table
2: It depends on what the openings are, some occur more frequently than others. Also depends on if you count suited and unsuited as different openings,
3: if those 79 are random, 79/169 = 47% Expect this to be a little lower due to pocket pairs/suited stuff more likely to be in your hand range
