My wife is forcing me to go to NY in two weeks.
I said I'd go if we can stop at a casino along the
way. Which is best, Horseshoe in Cleveland, or
Presque Isle in Erie. I know nothing about either.

All suggestions welcome.

How do you judge "better?" Presque Isle has lower limits and is much easier to get in and out of. Horseshoe is more upscale, has better food, and is attached to a mall (does Mrs. Bob gamble?); but, Horseshoe is right downtown and parking is a block and a half from the casino.

If you are making the drive up my way, Seneca Niagara has a similar feel to Vegas casinos, a good buffet, nice steakhouse, good Asian/fusion restaurant, and all the gaming options you would want. SOOPOO would treat EB and Mrs. EB to an adult beverage....

Horseshoe Cleveland. I can meet you there and get you guys a room in the Ritz or a comped buffet or two. Also access to the Diamond Lounge. (Take that, SOOPOO!)

Does that offer also apply to a guy who once took out a homeless man for sushi lunch?

Bob hates craps. Considers it akin to watching paint dry.

Not going that far east, thanks anyway.

That sounds tempting. I'll ask my wife about it.

Oh man. If this happens, we will have proof from a respected member that Bob is not actually a figment of our collective imaginations. I'm excited.

The parking Garage on Ontario has a relatively new skywalk, so it is easy and comfortable to get into Horseshoe now. You do need to earn a token amount of points to get free parking, but that's pretty easy from my experience playing Video Poker.

I think the completion of some construction projects makes it easier to get to and from I-77. If EB comes across on I80/90, you can take I-77 North to Cleveland and get off at the East 9th Street exit but go "straight" to Orange/Ontario and turn right, the parking garage is just past Quicken Loans Arena on your right.

I can get you free parking too, Bob. HCC has a ton of roulette action, also. Much more than Erie. Also, non-smoking.

Erie is going to be the place befitting a man of your post history.

If you smoke, you can't in Cleveland, but are encouraged to do so in Erie.

Smaller minimums

Less crowds.

Cheaper booze.
Statistics don't lie, they deceive.
