Jennie, try Pechanga. I'm not sure where exactly you live but if you are in the LA area it will only be about 30 mins. longer of a drive than San Manuel. Pechanga compares to a mid-upper level LV Strip Casino vs. San Manuel that compares to a lower end Downtown LV joint. I promise you will love it. Very nice, knowledgeable staff and players (for the most part) and much younger, hipper crowd especially on weekends/nights.

Let me know if you have any questions about it, I am there quite a bit.

And no, this post does not make me adorable or soooo cute. :)

ya i actually been to pechanga twice, did not/don't like it there; maybe because i never won there once...but san manuel is closer/closest and i don't want to drive another 30 min more!

I'd say you have a pretty good chance of winning, definitely better than the mean chance of winning if I were to quantify all entrants and take the mean score on a 0-10 basis as compared to yourself.

That having been said, what were the criteria for entry? At least ten entrants don't have a chance, as in, I wouldn't look at them twice in a grocery store don't have a chance.

Is someone who spends $400 for a ticket to 'the hot Broadway show' a fool? To the BCS championship game? To skydive? I am guessing the older gentleman enjoys his time with JJ as much. If this older gentleman is worth $10,000,000 and has no concerns at all about money, would you consider him a fool? Or someone who knows what he is doing with his money, that is, enjoying life!

Is this what you are talking about:

MALE FAIRY TALE

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess,
"Will you marry me?" The Princess said, "No!!!"...

.... And the Prince lived happily ever after and rode
motorcycles and dated skinny long-legged full-breasted
women and hunted and fished and raced cars and went
to naked bars and dated ladies half his age and drank
whiskey, beer and Captain Morgan and never heard
[Bleep!] and never paid child support or alimony and
dated cheerleaders and kept his house and guns and ate
spam and potato chips and beans and blew enormous
farts and never got cheated on while he was at work
and all his friends and family thought he was frigging
cool as hell and he had tons of money in the bank and
left the toilet seat up.

The end

Down, boys! Chivalry is certainly alive and well when it's comes to these threads. I was asking jennie if SHE considered the gentleman a fool and I was hoping she would answer for herself. Since you turned it around and asked me the question, SOOPOO, I'll be happy to answer. In your scenario, I do not consider the gentleman a fool. I do not necessarily consider jennies old "friend" a fool either because I don't have enough information to make that determination. Again, I merely wanted to know what jennie thought.

Here's what she had to say in the Just Joined thread: "I do not need/want some fool giving me few chips here and there. I like to win w/ MY money and lose w/ MY money"
