I was wondering if anyone knew of a phone app that can plug in numbers in a pre-filled formula to get the answer? I was thinking of something in these lines:

(x * predetermined #1) + (x * predetermined #2) * predetermined #3 =

I need to do calculations on the spot at casinos and I am horrible at math, contrary to the stereotype about Asians.

I've always been meaning to ask...do you ever wear sweats and a baseball cap when you play at the Palms? Just wondering because a couple times I saw an Asian kid playing VP, and it occurred to me that it might be you. :)

I've used smart Basic lite app for iphone. Can you write some code? It's not very tough to learn.
$1700, 18, 19, 1920, 40, 60,... :/ Thx 'Do it again'. I'll try

wolfram alpha app might be able to do that

Just tested it on wolfram alpha, seems to work fine, but would you like to give me an example and I can input it for you and post a screen shot for you?

Sorry more meant that towards DJ, but yes wolfram alpha will work only problem is it can be a bit slow at times and it will drain most batteries.

If you have an android phone look up the app mathematics, the picture for it is a f(x) with a blue background. You can input your own formulas and set desired variables. If you need any help let me know, but it is pretty straight forward. If you have an iPhone they may have the same app but I am not sure. This app would be better than wolfram alpha for your purposes.

It's not worth driving out at 3am but it's good for screwing around with little bits of money.

No that's not me. Basic training made me fear for my life if I put a hat on inside..... Sometimes I play NSUD there if I'm bored.

Thanks I'll check it out. I just don't want to input the same base formula everytime, just want to change a few variables.

The mathematics app allows you to create your own formulas and input the variables for it, you can also save the formulas for later use and change the variables with relative ease, should be perfect for what you need...and it is a free app unlike wolfram.
