Being that it is Thanksgiving week a lot of casinos are giving out turkeys or apple/pumpkin pies. I don't know how to cook a turkey but I did play at Ellis Island because they were handing out turkeys for earning points. Anyway they run out of turkeys after my play and they gave me $10 in freeplay instead which was a ripoff because I went to Albertsons to buy one and it was $20.
I usually get food coupons at Boyd properties and decided to go to Sam's Town since I like Billy Bob's steakhouse. They are giving out apple pies for earning 200 points, which shouldn't take long nor cost a lot. I play $1 JoB and proceed to brick about 10 hands in a row and not get anything higher then a high pair. This of course means my credits never went up and kept going on a downhill cycle. Overall I spent about $50 chasing an apple pie that should have cost less then $1 theo :(
This was all for charity and I felt I should have just handed over a c-note to the place instead of spending so much money on the turkey and pie......

It was pretty funny seeing how we all calculate odds, find the advantage, run the numbers over and over again to determine if a play is good or not, then real life hits and throws your "expected loss" right out the window!
I did net $100 from a screw up at a Caesers property, so I guess it worked itself out in the end. They are really too big to fail, and too big to know what each department is doing.

You may be more right than you know. My wife does promotions work for them and she often tells me that the left hand has no idea what the right is doing......and we still trust themt o get a relatively simple thing like ratings right??? :)
