Ultimate x? What's the right move

Can't find any good strategy guides. It's hand comes up a ton and never know the right play. Double double bonus. Payable unimportant. But dealt hand is aa226. Do you keep aa or two pair because of multiplier?

Holding the two pair is slightly superior, pursuant to the BS on WoO. I imagine slightly more superior than other times, in this case, because you are eating two penalty cards on 4oaK Aces w/Kicker by tossing the deuces. It'd be a closer decision if it were Two Pair Aces & Jacks.

Here's a caveat: If you're playing this game on Videopoker.com, and that's why you're asking, then you would just hold the Aces on the 100th hand, because the future multipliers are irrelevant. In fact, you'd just revert to regular Double Double Bonus strategy for best ER.

I'm pretty confident the multipliers would be irrelevant, other than making sure that the remaining multiplier(s) puts you at +ER in the first place. The strategy for the game would always be the same as the base game at the base pays, whatever those are, because the Expected Return of any given play, (whether represented by credits or cash) is simply the expected return of the base game * the multiplier for each hand / by the total number of hands.

I stopped in Cape Girardeau on the way to Tunica today and did more vulturing than I ever have before. And they offered 6/5 bonus for as cheap as 2c a credit!
As for the question at hand, if you're vulturing, play normal strategy. If not, always hold 2 pair, chance at 12X outweighs AA.
