What ever happened to this game. It was in the
Nugget last year and then I never heard another
word about it. It was a big deal for awhile, is it
still around?

Why? I thought it was sure thing, everybody was talking
about it in the press a couple years ago. Did it suck?

No, not everyone thought it was a sure thing.
The main stream press, and its promotion of prominent people and their endeavors, has no effect on the quality of a game.
Gamblers who put up their money decide that.

I lasted about three months at the Golden Nugget. The GN is always trying new games, many of duds, so just because a game gets a placement there doesn't mean it will go beyond that. As I recall, it also would have been a difficult analysis. I was in no hurry to spend time analyzing it unless it got beyond the GN, or Rupert personally asked me to, in exchange for him suffering my questions about Survivor.

Hard to say who would have the biggest headache after that exchange !
Shed not for her
the bitter tear
Nor give the heart
to vain regret
Tis but the casket
that lies here,
The gem that filled it
Sparkles yet

I'm waiting for Kim Kardashian's new game, or Paris Hilton's.
Guaranteed it's at the GN.

Somebody convinced Rupert it was. He put a bunch of
his money into it and there were investors. In interviews
he was already spending the coming profits. Somebody
filled his head with moonbeams and lollipops, he didn't
dream all that up by himself.

Doesn't take much for a game inventor to dream. Plus he had that celebrity feeling, Golden Nugget put the game on the floor, etc.
And he had investors. After all he had just beat the odds on Survivor>
