I wanted to make a public thank you to the Wizard for his videos and the information on his websites.

A few months ago I went to Las Vegas for the first time. I did not play any of the table games because I did not know how, and further did not want to waste money playing incorrectly.

After returning home I watched all of the Wizard's videos, memorized the odds tables for craps, and learned the blackjack simple strategy table.

I went back to Las Vegas a few weeks ago. This time I was fully prepared.

My game of choice is craps. I was able to walk right up to a busy table at a major strip casino and buy in at the appropriate time. Even though I had never played before I think I can safely say that no one (not even the dealers) knew.

I ended up playing craps in several casinos (Circus Circus at 3:00 A.M. is an experience unto itself). I had about 15 hours of rated play, and by keeping it to the Pass Line or Don't Pass plus backing up with odds I was able to limit my losses to about $80.

So again, thank you Wizard. And I can say that the information on this website is spot on for anyone who is interested in learning correct and smart play.

Cmon Avenger, You have a good Circus Circus 3am craps experience story and you don't spill it?
We are all eagerly waiting.
I've played a little at Circus. Stayed at Hilton Grand Vacations next door and played some poker in their small poker room. sigh, I heard its now gone.
I hear you about the Wiz, he does deserve a lot of thanks. I am also a much more educated gambler due to his odds site. I mostly play video poker with some no limit Tx Holdem cash and tournaments, and a little BJ and craps.
Its just a forum. Nothing here to get obsessed about.
