How classy was that? Hope they get more than a million in promotional value/free media out of this, because I really like how they handled this.
They did the right thing for once though.
Quote: renoGood thing this didn't happen in Atlantic City! Revel would have de-activated both men's players cards and barred them from ever returning. Golden Nugget would have sued everyone named Kevin Lewis.
Post of the year!

Google it. It's an interesting case study in major sweepstakes mistakes.

Blackjack! No. I'll double.
Just out of curiosity, did the FIRST Kevin Lewis even play/qualify? Or was he just some random guy walking around hearing his name called?Quote: beachbumbabsHeard this on the news, others on here may have more details. Horseshoe in/near Cincinatti, OH had a million-dollar drawing, with a big check prepared, and a big crowd on hand. They called the name "Kevin Lewis". Kevin Lewis (appeared to be mid-40s local) was in the crowd, hollered, everybody cheered, he came forward and was awarded the big check, pictures taken, everybody celebrate. However, the winner was ANOTHER Kevin Lewis, who was not there but found out he won shortly afterwards, wanted to claim his winnings. Investigation finds that the 2nd Kevin Lewis was the player who won. Horseshoe decides it was their mistake, pays the 2nd Kevin Lewis, and lets the first one keep the money, too.

P.S. I voted on BOTH the first and second options
P.P.S. I forgot what else I was gonna say
P.P.S. Thank God they didn't call out "Jose Garcia" as a winner (sorry, I live in southern California so maybe some of you won't get it)
