Enjoy your stay at PARIS HOTEL.... its in the mail
I have one pass left good for 2 nights at PARIS ....Sunday to Thursday. If you don't have a Diamond card they will ding you for Resorts Fees
Says its good for FAMILY or Friends.... if somebody could use this let me know ASAP
WE all are friends on here are we not ;)
I am even on friendly terms here with my ex-wife Beach Babs.
Of course having Ace of Spades handle the divorce influenced that greatly.
If we are already exes, you cheat yourself out of the best part of the relationship we haven't yet will have had! (Past-future imperfect tense; hope you're loving that. Or even could follow it. I can hardly wait until time travel is a reality. What THAT will do to the language...)
Quitter. :)
Too bad I didn't will have hired AoS, the finest advocate a girl can have; I could've cleaned you out.

Actually they wave the resort fee for Platnium as well. And you can get upgraded to Platnium without even gambling now by signing up for the TR Credit Card. And you get a free Buffet pass for 2, with restrictions. As always, please manage your credit responsibly.
Now dear, you remember what the therapist said about denial. Isn't it enough that you left me with a broken heart ?
Quote: RealizeGamingHey everyone. My wife and I will be attending G2E for the first time and if you don't mind, we may show up to the dinner on Wednesday. It would be great to meet all of you who make this the best forum out there.
Now that you've buttered us up, of course you're both welcome.
Is it safe to say we'll have about 20, for purposes of making a reservation?
I told Rich Newman about it. You can probably count him in.
I just might see if I can get my wife to be there with me too.
(If I can get here away from the hotels fitness center).
Put me down as one with a maybe for two.
Looking forward to meeting this gang.
If the WoV dinner is supposed to be an off-the-leash event for only those who are active on this forum, without spouses/family along, we will all happily comply with that and I will attend alone. No one will take offense, and in fact we all would prefer to know rather than blundering in as a group, disrespecting the traditions of the event. It's not as if there aren't other things to do in the middle of the Strip.
We are coming to G2E because I have invented a table game that shows promise. My brother is on the patent because he has worked with me on it from inception, as has my sis-to-be, and they are part of my nascent company. He has a degree from U of Houston and is a jack-of-all-trades. Sis-to-be is an accountant and CFO with a large commercial firm. Neither is a member of this forum, but they are well aware of how instrumental and inspiring the resources and members here have been, and would like to meet and thank those of you who attend.
We are there to learn about the industry, the people who work in it, and maybe show a few interested parties our work-in-progress. The Wiz's generous if/then offer notwithstanding, we are expecting to pay our own way at this dinner. Please clarify the situation, and we will act accordingly. Thanks!
Quote: beachbumbabsOk, I am a straight-up kind of person. So please teme what the deal is here. There will be no offense taken at my house if I have screwed this up.

If you've got the patent filed, why not start here? You'll get lots of free feedback by posting in the Game Inventor's Corner.

As far as I'm concerned, all are welcome, except permanently banned members. Doc and croupier have brought along their wives to previous WoV dinners.
I'd like to suggest that anybody may play along with the trivia challenge, but to be eligible to win a prize you must be an active forum member and not have previously won before. That is my only suggested stipulation.
In other G2E news, the lovely Angela, my student in my gambling videos, will be dealing at Galaxy Gaming's territory.
I have posted a specific question there, and a request for help, so it's on my radar, but I've never done a patent before, so I've held off making the game that public. One of the people I expect to meet with while we're there is Rich Newman, who's agreed to do the proper patent work, and I want his review before I publish. I filed a provisional patent in order to consult with a couple of folks I've met on here, and we've refined the game. So I am filing additional to the original before G2E. All a learning experience, and I'm trying to err on the side of caution.
Lots of free feedback....I suspect the problem was with the poster (me), not the forum, but I had the impression there wasn't much interest or experienced advice to be had in that corner based on what happened so far. It's my hope, when I post the entire game/numbers/protections, that the group will do me the huge favor of tearing it to bits in every direction so I can learn to explain/defend/improve it.
Babs, Do you have any general concept of the game you can divulge? for example, poker based? pai gow based? etc...?
Riverboat Roulette -- Roulette with Place Bets / Multiple Spin Wagers

mrsuit31,
It would be a poker derivative. It's not quite ready for wide dissemination, but I think I'm close; gonna let a couple people look at it first. I expect to bring it to you folks in about 2 weeks.
Dissemination means to broadcast a message to the public without direct feedback from the audience.
Surely you want feedback ?
You're right; that's government-speak. Must break the habit; sequester continues.
Distribution will do.
And no, babs, that does not mean I need a bib.

Make my score 12 if so. But wiki says it was only capital of the Confederacy briefly.
Quote: bbbbcccc17 should also include Montgomery, Alabama.
Nobody put down Montgomery at the dinner, at least that I know of. Since I just said "capitol" (singular) I think it should be interpreted as the one for the greatest length of time, which was Richmond.
Did you know the answers to the questions before you made the quiz?

Is this the "Middle-Aged White Guys" convention? LOL!
*J/K, of course. Don't mean to offend anyone.
My wife and I would like to know more details on this Dinner, Location and address? We will be in Vegas Most of November and December till Christmas. and would like to add new events to our agenda.
Looks like we all are the same or similar age.
I either got 11.5 or 12.5, would you have just taken, "An egg," for #6, or would I have to specify that the egg be fried? I knew it was a fried egg, but I would have just written, "An egg."

I would have taken just an egg.
Quote: WizardI would have taken just an egg.
Cool, having missed 2-4 and only getting a half point on #5 (Guinea), it was looking really ugly for me for a minute.

Dave, who are the rest.
As a relatively new member to this group, I would also like to "put a name with the faces" in the picture.
