Thankfully, it was all winnings and am still ahead for the year.
But I'd never seen dealers make so many stiff hands of 12-16 into 20/21 regardless the count or a new shuffle.
4 seperate $50 double downs of 19 & 20 got cracked and a $500 split of 3's lost because the dealer couldn't bust 16.
The only positive is, I got a gigantic box of Russel Stover chocolates and turned $20 into $110 on a slot machine heading out.
So will have to re-group and make another trip on Thursday or so.

Weak count, over betting, not spreading nearly enough and possibly playing negative shoes. Read some of Ace's first posts. In his very first we learn that he spreads black 1-4 and usually has a $10.000 bankroll. A few posts later we see that he was up over $27,000 over two and a half years. Looking at the hours played it was a small sample size that may have buoyed his expectations.
Complicating matters is his affinity for the finer things that his casino of choice is only too happy to provide him with and I have to wonder if that affects his play at times.
The Atlantic City six deck game is beatable. Ace is a good guy and I want to see him win.

I have had in the past but, this one felt different for some reason.
I am not sure why but it did. I had been playing good sessions and was up
using the hit and run. However, I hit a bad run (pushing four times on
with 21 on doubles with 200 + 200) - basically, I considered those as losses as
if i even win two of the four that is an extra 800 and I am usually
getting up at that point. However, for some reason, well, not for some reason,
but, for the reason of wanting to "stick it to the man" (so to speak),
I spread more than usual (1-10) and sure, my bankroll could've been bigger but
it wasn't (but, it was consistent with how I always play). I began to
take the losing hands personally after last week (was it due to karma, as Buzz
would say) - or was it my own stupidity (as I would say).
I think the AC trips have gotten the better of me, although I am still up for 2013. I think I need a Vegas trip here sometime in the next two months.
