So, with a 10% bonus on royal flushes, what kind of payback would there be on a full pay game? I have no idea how to figure this out, so I will leave it to one of you math wiz's. Surely it has to push it up over 100%

KJ:

The Wiz's other site has lots of cool info on it,
like the percent each winning hand contributes
to the payback on a VP game.

WIZARDOFODDS.com

But generally speaking, the RF is 2 % of the
total payback in VP. So that would raise the paytable
by 0.2 %, so it probably does NOT put the
payback at over 100 %, at least if my reasoning
is correct.

It adds about .2% to the return of 9/6 JoB.

"9-6" Jacks or Better
Hand Payoff Combinations Probability Return
Royal flush 800 493512264 0.00002476 0.01980661

The Royal Flush is normally worth 1.980661%. Add on a 10% bonus and that adds an additional 0.1980661%. That would put 9/6 JoB up to 0.997419701, or 99.7419701%.

That is with no strategy adjustment. If you adapt your strategy, it returns 99.7462%.

If you can find a novelty game which yields more royals than normal, that might be a better bet - Dream Card Poker and Chase the Royal games come to mind.

Probably not though because I don't think many of these machines are full-pay, even in Vegas.

And fyi, kewlj, for anything dealing with video poker return calculators and strategies, JB's calculators are excellent!
