I know my Papa is a regular on this forum. I read real fast and saw he used buzzpaff and buzzard. Anyways, to get to the point, he googled this morning, "arm pain + chest pain" and realized he was having a heart attack. The stubborn person that he is, he drove himself to the hospital, while calling me, to tell me to call 911 to have someone meet him at the door. He made it there in time. He did have a heart attack, and they put a stint in. He's in ICU right now, prayers are appreciated. He is in St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO.

Buzz has my prayers with him. We are all hoping that he pulls through. He was missed during his previous absence and we are all hoping for a quick and full recovery!

Thanks for telling us the news. I too hope for a fast recovery. My father had a heart attack recently, so I feel what you're going through. Buzz is a tough old bloke, so I think he odds are great. He may have to break down and take a pill for the first time in his life.
If I can make a suggestion, don't post that personal information directly. At least make those interested in it ask for it by "private message." The spambots will find that Email address before you know it, and you'll get inundated with ads for fake Viagara.

Thank you all so much! I'll be checking here in the morning and print out the well wishes and bring them to him in the hospital. I think this group of people (forum) is wonderful - he talks to me about all of you all the time. He doesn't have any close friends where we live so well-wishes from you all are so important. Thanks again!

Yeah, but not smart. If you pass out you might survive the heart attack, but not the accident. Or, you could die and kill someone else.

Buzzpath, Buzzard give the old Gael spirit and kick the heart attack in the ass. BTW, now you can say "Serious as a heart attack" and know what it really mean. Rest of us will be relagated to saying "Serious as a cold." Get better soon buddy!

And Maryjo, please tell Buzz for me to get well soon. Actually with a stent he'll probably be out early next week, they don't keep you around very long. Make sure he does his cardiac rehab; if he does, that stent will last him forever.

such email harvesting spambots can often be defeated by changing the entry to read name at provider dot com since the spam bots look for the @ sign.
